A good body lotion is hard to find. Too oily, too sticky, too thick—the list goes on and on. Lucky for us, Caldrea has been perfecting its body care line for a decade (yes, a decade!). This nourishing body lotion comes in three signature scents: Aloe Water Apricot, a modern white musk with floral notes; Tea Olive Lime, a green citrus scent with vanilla and orchid; and Coconut Fig Leaf, which is fresh and exotic with top notes of white fig, plum, and coconut.
I really like this lotion as well as the previous Caldrea sample I tried a couple months ago. The texture is light -- good for summer more than cooler months, but it made my skin feel very smooth without being greasy. And I love the tea lime scent as well as the coconut fig (those were my two samples). They are both clean and complex, not sweet or perfume-y, which is just right to me. If I buy, it will be coconut fig.5
I didn't see anything super spectacular about this lotion but it wasn't like it was horrible. I won't be buying it because I have a significant amount of other lotions I use.4
Sample pack was too small to get a real feel for the quality of this product.3
I received aloe water apricot lotion sample and cannot get enough of this scent. I hope they make it in a perfume, I'd wear it in a heartbeat!!! The lotion itself was a nice moisturizing, not overly sticky soft feel too.5
I liked this lotion, however, the Aloe Water Apricot scent was a little too "mature" for me and quite overpowering. I do not like any scents with musky tones, so this just wasn't for me. The scent name is a little misleading. I'm assuming they are referring to apricot tree flowers, because there was no hint of the fruit whatsoever. Although I like how well this soaked into my skin, a LOT goes a LITTLE way. I had to use almost the entire packet on just my legs.3
Liked the texture, wasn't too runny or too thick. Couldn't stand the scent, smelled like dill pickles to me for some reason. I wish it would have been a different fragrance as I probably would have purchased it.1
Smells good and moisturizes well, however, I already have a lotion that I am in love with.4
This smells nice and seems to work fine. There is nothing particularly special about it.4
This lotion had a nice, thick texture (between a lotion and a body butter), but there was a strange, chemical smell under the fragrance that was off-putting. The body wash fragrance was much nicer.2
It's smells good
Goes on good
Really like it
