A good body lotion is hard to find. Too oily, too sticky, too thick—the list goes on and on. Lucky for us, Caldrea has been perfecting its body care line for a decade (yes, a decade!). This nourishing body lotion comes in three signature scents: Aloe Water Apricot, a modern white musk with floral notes; Tea Olive Lime, a green citrus scent with vanilla and orchid; and Coconut Fig Leaf, which is fresh and exotic with top notes of white fig, plum, and coconut.
I am a lotionaholic and I just loved the scents and everything about this product. A must buy!5
I actually really liked the scents of these lotions. They aren't strong and offensive, but were light and refreshing. It was a pretty standard lotion. Nothing super special about it, but not a bad product either. My skin felt hydrated, and not too oily. Overall, a good product, but not something I'd spend a fortune on.4
I love high end lotions because they tend to work better for me. This was no exception to that. It made my skin silky smooth and had a delicious scent!5
This lotion was very moisturizing, but I wasn't crazy about the scent. I've only tried one of the 3 so far so maybe the others will be better but I didn't care for the first one.3
The coconut scent is AMAZING! Also gives great conditioning without leaving hands greasy. I love!5
I don't usually like scented lotion, but I actually really enjoyed these scents. The lotion has a nice texture to it, however I did not find it very moisturizing.2
I'm not a flower-y-smelling lotion girl who likes to walk around in a perfume cloud, so I was really excited about Caldrea's citrus/plant combos when I got my birchbox! I found them to have the perfect amount of scent, not at all overpowering, it's just enough to make you feel pretty.
I also appreciate that they are free of phthalates, parabens, formaldehyde, sulfates, DEA, artificial colors and are vegan. I've been trying to clean up my routine and these would be a great addition.
I will say, though, that Caldrea calls their lotions "deep hydrating" but I would highly disagree. I live in Chicago and it's still winter here, so I think I'd know if these were "deep hydrating." I'd use these lotions for the unique scents, not hydration.
I got this as a sample. The texture was okay, but the scent I tried was not good. It was a floral over powering scent. Not apricot at all. Not worth the price.1
I loved these lotions. They were a great texture. And they smelled awesome. I was so excited that I got 3 different scents in my birchbox and I loved the smell of all 3.5
I loved these lotion samples. All 3 that I got in my box smelled awesome. I was so glad that I got to try 3 different ones. Great quality lotion.5
