We absolutely love our BB creams, but this next-generation CC cream takes corrective coverage to the next level. More lightweight than its prequel and easier to blend, the fragrance-free formula acts as both a primer and a foundation. It smooths fine lines and uneven skin and provides SPF protection (against UVA, UVB, and infrared-A rays). And light-diffusing mica minerals soften the appearance of pores and wrinkles for a fresh, flawless complexion. Plus, this all-in-one velvety cream comes in a range of self-adjusting shades to suit a variety of skin tones.
While I like the Supergoop brand (I've received their eye cream from Birchbox and loved it), I'm not a huge fan of CC creams in general. I might try it in the summer when I'm out in the sun, can take advantage of the SPF and don't wear much makeup. But I don't see much of a use for it in the winter.2
No offense, but I'm getting a little tired of all the super goop face products I've been getting in my box, I think this is three in the past five boxes...in any case. This seemed a little heavy and greasy. I'm nervous to try things of this nature on my sensitive acne troubled skin... Also the skin color choices seem very limited. I fear I am too pale for these shades. Perhaps if I was in Cali in the sun all the time instead of cold PA.2
I have fair skin with warm undertones. The sample sent to me is still too dark for my skintone to look natural without piling mineral powder on top of it. It's annoying that this product only comes in two shades--just not a match for me, unfortunately. I think I would love all other aspects if it was a closer match.2
I have sampled a few products from Supergoop and generally like them. This one had a nice texture and a high SPF, but unfortunately the light color was way too dark for me.2
not a fan of supergoop. I already use a product i like2
This was the wrong color for me. However, I do like that it contains an SPF2
I did not like this CC cream. It did not blend well and did not adjust to my skin tone.2
It was a little greasy feeling for my particular skin tone, so I had to powder. For everyday use, I'd stick to my foundation, but this would be ok for a quick cover on the weekend or something.2
It felt very greasy to me, and I don't see using this as a substitute for a foundation.2
I have received a ton of cc or bb creams from birchbox and this has been my least favorite. This didn't blend into my skin very well, it just sort of sat on my face and looked weird and filmy - like I was wearing a poor quality foundation. After about an hour it looked even worse. I think it would work better on less dry skin?2
