We absolutely love our BB creams, but this next-generation CC cream takes corrective coverage to the next level. More lightweight than its prequel and easier to blend, the fragrance-free formula acts as both a primer and a foundation. It smooths fine lines and uneven skin and provides SPF protection (against UVA, UVB, and infrared-A rays). And light-diffusing mica minerals soften the appearance of pores and wrinkles for a fresh, flawless complexion. Plus, this all-in-one velvety cream comes in a range of self-adjusting shades to suit a variety of skin tones.
I love spot correctors and tone neutralizers but this one just didn't work for me. It felt and looked more like wearing liquid foundation which I don't normally wear.3
I've been hesitant to try this brand (I'd read there were parabens in some of their products. Plus, what a weird name!), but when this arrived in my Birchbox, I just happened to have been struggling to find a face sunscreen I liked. My expectations were low, but they were instantly exceeded! First, a little goes a long way (though, I do moisturize my face first). The recommendation of a pea-size amount is right on. I dot it on and pat to blend it in. The texture feels thick on the hand, but blends in better than any other tinted sunscreen/moisturizer or foundation I've ever tried (and doesn't cause any breakouts) It doesn't stick to dry patches, cause a white cast, or cause oiliness, but rather completely disappears, except leaving my skin tone looking very healthy and even. Most days, I don't even bother applying foundation over it (though with the addition of a primer, this works well too). The tint lasts a reasonably long time (often 10-12 hours) and the sun protection seems exceptional too. Like many people, I don't typically remember to reapply after 2 hours (though, yes, this product can be layered for more coverage and/or reapplication) and, despite how fair and prone to burning I am, I've not had any issues. It's rare for me to be completely blown away by a product, but this one did just that. I purchased a full-size bottle before my sample was half empty. I'm sure I'll be repurchasing it as well.5
I was super excited to try this product. It was originally left out of my box, but Birchbox customer service sent me a replacement right away! Thanks! I did like the product, with its high SPF, I was excited to try it. I was happy with the way it went on, it wasn't greasy, but it did dry pretty quickly so the tiny sample size was a little concerning. The tube isn't super full or anything. You have to use a decent size bead of the product for each area of the face, 5 beads total for my face, nose, each cheek, chin, and forehead. It soaks in really quick so you have to blend quick. It was a little drying for me. I may try to use a richer moisturizer under it. I also didn't wear makeup on top it, but will try that. I'll get maybe 3 total uses from this cute, but tiny sample size.4
I couldn't use this product so I gave it to my sister and she said she really liked it and her skin looked nice so I'd say it did it's job!
i had never used a cc cream but i really liked it. very smooth look. i did use some foundation over but not much
I liked this products texture and how lightweight it was. I like a little more coverage than CC creams usually offer but I will definitely use this product on beach days or just going for a hike, it worked well for what its intended for.4
I already have similar products. I'd have to use it longer to see if I truly liked it enough, but I probably won't since I'm happy with what I already use.3
I like the finish and consistence of this BB but I felt it was too light for my skin and I typically wear fair tones. I would like to try it in a slightly darker shade.3
This left my skin feeling goopy! I would look at other options4
With limited shades, I can see this being a good product if your skin tone happens to match their offerings. Unfortunately, the light/medium shade didn't work for my warm, yellow undertones.2
