We typically enjoy our macadamias covered in chocolate, so we were delighted to discover that this delicious treat could also work wonders on our hair. Made with a blend of macadamia and argan oils, this restorative treatment infuses hair with weightless moisture and repairs dry and damaged strands from the inside out.
Smelled great and had a nice feel in my hands, but was totally ineffective in fighting frizz. I have thick curly hair and have used aragon oil for years to keep my hair smooth and shiny. Had several people comment on how frizzy and poufy my hair was. I tried it on wet hair, dry hair, a dime size, a nickel size, and mixed with leave in conditioners. Nothing seemed to work for me.1
I cannot put this in my hair. If it touches my skin then I breakout like there is no tomorrow.1
I have dry, curly, frizzy hair and was excited to use this. The smell was not for me and couldn't get past it enough to consider liking the product. I immediately masked it with other product.1
Use sparingly! I have a lot of hair, and this product is hard to distribute evenly. Smells amazing though, and lasts a long time.2
i didnt really like this as it was kind of oily..smelled too strong and not a good smell, and i believe it caused some breakouts on the sides of my cheeks and neck. oh well.2
This product works but past birchbox samples have turned me into such an argon oil junky, other products can't keep up.2
I used this on my hair and got some on my scalp and it burned!!! Not really a fan of the smell either...2
I wish I could use this product but after a few hours/ the next day it just made my hair feel greasy. Maybe I used too much but I don't think my hair type can tolerate adding oil.2
Unlike other reviewers, I found this product smelled too much like certain ethnic hair products, and I would prefer a product with no fragrance at all. This would clash with any perfume the user wore. Having said that, after using, my hair (naturally curly) was soft and smooth without being weighed down or greasy. I used a very small amount on wet hair after shampooing. Bring out an unscented product, and I'm in!2
Overall, disappointed. The smell was too musky for me, and my hair did not seem any more manageable or smooth. I did however like the Deep Repair Masque. I prefer Moroccan Oil as a heating oil treatment.2
