We typically enjoy our macadamias covered in chocolate, so we were delighted to discover that this delicious treat could also work wonders on our hair. Made with a blend of macadamia and argan oils, this restorative treatment infuses hair with weightless moisture and repairs dry and damaged strands from the inside out.
My ranking of hair oils
1. Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Hair oil
2. Moroccan oil
3. Macadamia oil
I didn't like the smell, it wasn't bad but it didn't smell good.
It made my hair wavy, not in a bad way but I usually like my hair straight
Its a great product, I may consider purchasing...Im happy with my Morrocon Oil for now.3
I tried this product out on my curly hair and it did help my frizziness level, but it was just a little too thick to help hydrate all of my curls without making my hair look weird. I'll keep using it bit by bit, but I don't think I'll buy it since there are other products that help both friz and to shape my curls. If you had straight hair, or straightened your hair a lot this product would be great.3
This product was good, however I much rather get the Jose Maran argan oil. The Jose Maran is unbeatable when it comes to hair oil.3
I liked the product, and it does have a nice scent to it. The sample size that came in the Birchbox was very generous! I am a loyal Moroccan oil user and don't see myself switching anytime soon, but this may be a good alternative.3
not a fan of the scent...
although, it performs VERY WELL.
light, not greasy control.
One of my first impressions of this product was that it smelled a bit masculine. It's not wholly unpleasant though. It's a maple-colored oil that I usually applied to dampened hair and left in for the day - usually in an up-do. When I took my hair down later in the day, it kind of retained the shape of being twisted up. I also used it with the Deep Repair Masque - it did seem to complement this product well and help the mask to absorb more readily into my hair.3
Careful, do not use too much as with any oil. Made my hair silky.3
I liked this hair oil for what it did for my hair by leaving it softer and shiner! I wasn't thrilled with the smell.3
This stuff smells amazing and seems to do its job. My hair has been really dry lately so I am looking forward to see if it has an effect on that with continued use. Also looking forward to using the mask from this brand that came along with it.3
