We typically enjoy our macadamias covered in chocolate, so we were delighted to discover that this delicious treat could also work wonders on our hair. Made with a blend of macadamia and argan oils, this restorative treatment infuses hair with weightless moisture and repairs dry and damaged strands from the inside out.
OMG... i LOVE this stuff. It smells so good you'll be tempted to nibble on your hair.. just a little. Really though, I loved how smooth and tame my normally frizzy, uncontrollable hair is when I use this. Let me just say that it's quite a feat here in humid Florida.5
Love this Macadamia Oil Treatment. Smoothes and shines up my thick hair like nothing else. Also has a really nice scent. Not too heavy and doesn't make my hair seem greasy.4
It really smooths the ends of my long hair and split ends.5
I have been using this since I received it in my Birchbox...I didn't use it this morning and my hair is frizzy and all over the place!5
I love the way the Macadamia Natural Oil feels when you first put it on and love the smell, but the non-water soluble silicones makes it not work for me. I'm an infrequent shampooer -- I do a scrub and sometimes baking soda-citric acid paste -- so anything that doesn't rinse out won't work for me. I wish I'd read the ingredients and seen that the first two are non-soluble silicones (Dimethicone and Cyclomethicone) before I used it. Seeing silicones as the first 2 ingredients and vitamin E extract as the 3rd also makes me wonder how much macadamia oil is actually in it, Calling it "natural oil" is kind of misleading.2
Tried this today for the first time and i love it! I put it on damp hair before i blow drying and my hair came out so smooth! It's definitely lighter than other oils or products that I've used in my hair and it smells great!4
Just a dab is sufficient. I don't even pour any oil out; I just press the opening against my palm and use the little bit that's left behind. I'm not the biggest fan of the scent though (I love Moroccanoil). It is fresh and clean smelling, just not my personal taste.4
Just a dab will be sufficient--I don't even pour out any of the oil, I just press the opening against my palm and use the little ring of oil that comes out (and I have medium thickness hair that hangs to my shoulder blades). I'm not the biggest fan of the smell (I love the scent of MoroccanOil)--but it is clean and fresh.4
I love this oil -- it smells nice but not over powering. A little goes a long way. I spread a couple drops on my fingers tips and smooth over my hair after drying to tame fly aways and make it extra soft and shiny!5
I have long, frizzy, color-treated hair with lots of split ends. I mixed a little of this in with my usual leave-in cream while it was damp and then applied a little to my ends after I finished styling. I loved how it made my hair feel. It definitely felt softer, and my split ends looked less... split endy? It smells great too, kind of like incense. I would recommend it. I'm going to buy it as soon as my sample runs out.5
