We'll be the first to admit: Smooth, dewy skin is right at the top of our beauty wish list (right next to endless, clump-free lashes). This multitasking BB cream gets us much closer to our goal—and with minimal effort. It hydrates and calms skin, evens tone, controls shine, lightly masks imperfections, and, thanks to tiny flecks of light-reflecting pigments, infuses skin with a fresh-from the-yoga-studio radiance. This hypoallergenic, gluten-free, perfume-free, and oil-free formula is perfect for those with sensitive skin.
I have acne prone skin and I felt like it clogged my pores1
his went on so smooth and felt great, but it has strong gold tones in it which means it would be best for a slightly tan, gold undertone person. It does not work with my fair skin and red undertones1
I barely got one use out of my sample size but I liked it1
I love Marcelle skin care products, but not this one. I purchased my regular "skin care product" and a full size of the glow came with it. I tried it tanned and on untamed skin. I have determined that glowing or shiny skin is not pretty, at least on me. This is the only reason I gave this item such poor ratings.1
I was so excited to try this product out on a day I didn't want to wear foundation but still wanted some coverage. I put it on and looked in the mirror and it was awful! It made my already uneven skin tone look more uneven, emphasized all my pores and then clung to my dry patches on my face. A day later I am suffering horrible breakouts in areas I usually don't get any. For sensitive skin I do not suggest this product. Also it has sparkles in it.1
Sadly I couldn't use this product. It was way to dark. I was disappointed. I rubbed it on my hand to see how it felts, it feels beautiful but I can't really say how it would be on your face.1
Made me look shiny and oily. Not a good look for my combination skin type. Sorry this didn't work out!1
I have medium skin tone which means in Southern California I'm taken as 'white with a tan' meaning I'm not so dark that this should have made me look sickly pale instead of healthy/glowing. I think the color was just too much of a 'cool' instead of 'warm' tone...so this is far from a universal glow.
It being the wrong color for me would warrant such a bad rating though. It looked pastry with a very small amount on. I exaggerated every inconsistency and looked worse than with nothing on. Maybe on a freshly scrubbed face it would look better but it looked very much like wearing makeup instead of blending in.
The concept of this was cool, but it just didn't do anything for me. I could tell a slight difference, but the golden glow just wasn't doing anything for my light complexion.1
I was so excited to try this when I seen it in my BIRCHBOX this month but when I put it on it was not at all what I'd hoped for. I had little white dots in every pore on my face and it was very uneven.1
