The South Korean sensation of BB cream has gone global—and revolutionized our beauty regimens. Good for all skin tones and types, this multitasking version from Canadian brand Marcelle hydrates and calms skin, controls shine, masks imperfections, and infuses your complexion with just the right amount of color. Self-adjusting pigments, antioxidants, aloe, and chamomile work in conjunction to soothe and moisturize, even out skin tone, minimize the appearance of pores and blemishes, promote skin renewal, and protect against aging and environmental factors. It comes in three shades (light to medium, medium to dark, dark to darker), and its hypoallergenic, gluten-free, and perfume-free.
The color did not not match my skin and the product was not what I expected. Grateful that I did not have to keep it as returns at Birchbox are easy.1
I loved my sample of the Marcelle BB Cream so I had to purchase the full size. At first I loved it, but now it's coming out really watery. I'm not even 1/5 of the way through the product and most of it seems to be watery at this point and is unusable. I am incredibly disappointed and I feel like the product only worked for a few weeks at most before something changed in the consistency.1
This comes off on everything, even with powder applied on top of it. It is heavy and gross, not like what a BB cream should be. The packaging is pretty, with that "clean" look, but that's the best part of the product.1
Product inside is nice but no matter how clean I keep dispenser tip it splatters cream. Very frustrating design. Be sure to wear an apron.1
They sent me the wrong shade, for one. I really don't like marcelle's skin products. They are too liquidy, and I feel greasy after putting them on my skin, let alone my face. This was the most disappointing thing in my box this month.1
I thought I was ordering what I received as a sample, the Coola BB cream. I was not at all happy to receive a replacement and will be much more careful in ordering in the future.1
I don't find this very moisturizing. It seems more like a very light moisturizor for putting on light glitter/sparkles. I would not use this on my face. Sparkles only highlight the shine on my face ( I have oily t-zone) and any wrinkles I might have. I don't get it. Would be better for areas I actually wouldn't might highlighting: collarbone or legs maybe. Did not seem to calm skin as advertised it would. This seems like a product better for tweens or Halloween.1
I love this product and have since bought the full size! It offers complete coverage with out being caked on!1
This is the worst BB cream ever. Gave me horrible acne and I never break out. If I could return this I would. I am not pleased.1
I have to be careful about what I put on my skin. No matter how many times I've read that silicones don't clog pores, my skin will tell you otherwise. This feels rather thick for a BB cream, and is full of dimethicones, etc. (type of silicone). It doesn't agree with my skin and caused a breakout, even though it's oil-free. The end-result coverage, though, is somewhat light, even though it feels thick going on.2
