Traditional shampoos rely on sulfates to create a thick lather, but the flip side is that they can be incredibly harsh and drying especially on color-treated hair that needs the moisture most. This ultra-gentle shampoo is formulated without sulfates to ensure that it removes buildup without stripping color. After all, highlights can cost a pretty penny—we want to make them last!
I loved the size of this sample and really enjoy the fact that it is sulfate free. I dye my hair blonde so was excited to use a color saver shampoo I don't feel like it was enough product to tell if it really did save my color or not. It smelled nice as well.4
This shampoo left my hair smelling very summery and clean. No waxy residue, pretty volumizing for a shampoo. Lathered up really well also.4
I really enjoyed this product. I am really into hair care and was pleased with this shampoo. I will most likely be purchasing a full size bottle of this!3
I really enjoyed this shampoo and would definitely consider purchasing it once I am through with my current stock. It smelled great, lathered well, and left my hair feeling soft and clean. I have been "sulfate free" for 2 years, and this is one of the very best shampoos I have found.5
This shampoo worked fine, though I didn't love the smell...it reminds me of sweet tarts candy. I didn't find it to be anything special.3
This shampoo really does a great job making my hair soft and manageable. The first time I used it, several people commented that my hair looked nice.
Even better, once I started using it regularly, I noticed that my color lasted a lot longer than it did before.
My only complaint is that the shampoo is a little thicker than normal shampoo and can take some getting used to.
The smell of this is great, the later is great, and I think it did a good job shampoo-ing? I just like a shampoo that lathers well and smells good and this shampoo has both! Plus it's sulfate free--perfect because the shampoos with sulfates cause my head to have a slight allergic reaction. Bumps and itchiness.4
Opening a paper sample in the shower, was like running my fingernails down a chalkboard. And the fact that the conditioner came in a bottle, was so confusing to me? Why not just package them both in plastic bottles? I wasn't a huge fan of the shampoo and unfortunately I think the packaging (or lack thereof) had a lot to do with it.3
Not the best sulfate free shampoo I've used but it gets the job done. My hair didn't feel very soft after, but it could be just because it was a new shampoo.3
I loooove the smell of this and the big lather. Don't need to use a lot despite my shoulder-length hair. It's a pleasure to use and although it's hard to tell how much credit it deserves for preserving my color, I'm willing to give it the benefit of the doubt. :)4
