We pay plenty of attention to what brands put in our favorite products, but what they leave out is just as important. Case in point: celebrity hair stylist Nick Chavez’s transformative conditioner, which is completely free of parabens, those harmful preservatives that can strip moisture and leave strands dull and brittle. The gentle formula infuses hair with weightless hydration, ensuring that hair stays strong and color stays put.
The smell was great with the shampoo and conditioner. But my hair was dry and tangled after washing and conditioning. I tried the products 2x before giving them up. My hair did not like them at all.1
I'm not a fan of this shampoo brand. It stunk! It also left my hair pretty dry. I will not be buying this anytime soon.1
The day I first used this conditioner, my head started to itch. I thought, oops, I used it wrong. I was only supposed to put it on the ends.
So a week later, I tried again. This time I was careful to put it only on the ends.
Massive FAIL. My whole scalp itched like crazy. And to add insult to injury, it didn't even do anything for my hair.
I have some very tempermental hair and was excited to try this..... it was a bit of a let down for me....it smelled lovely but it left my hair really stringy and limp.....I have bouncy natural curly hair...... it was worth the try though!1
I was excited to try this conditioner when I received it in my birchbox but the sample size was too small. I have thick wavy hair so I tend to use a lot more conditioner than shampoo. The smell was great but honestly I don't know how the conditioner really works since I had to add some of my conditioner to fully coat my hair. The small sample was just not enough.1
The conditioner worked alright but the fragrance was not for me. There was nothing to really set this product apart to me.1
I had an allergic reaction in my eyes to this product. Not sure if it was the shampoo or conditioner. Awful. Other than that, I was excited to see a color safe product.1
I didn't want to leave a review without trying this product, but I rarely stray from my normal shampoo because nothing lives up to it. This didn't either. I am a "bleach and tone" girl and this shampoo/conditioner combo left my hair feeling like straw. It didn't style well either.
My normal shampoo/conditioner combo is Kerastase (green line) and I love love love it. My hair feels silky soft after using and I only need to wash once a week. The difference was HUGE.
These samples are going in my trash sadly.
I have slightly fine color treated hair. I did not like the smell of this product. Kind of lemon pledgy type of smell. It left my hair limp and oily.1
I have curly hair and it did not work well at all. I'm not sure if it was the shampoo or the conditioner that pulled out my curls but either way, I didn't like it.1
