We pay plenty of attention to what brands put in our favorite products, but what they leave out is just as important. Case in point: celebrity hair stylist Nick Chavez’s transformative conditioner, which is completely free of parabens, those harmful preservatives that can strip moisture and leave strands dull and brittle. The gentle formula infuses hair with weightless hydration, ensuring that hair stays strong and color stays put.
Like the shampoo, I think the product worked well enough, but the smell was just not doing anything for me. Have other shampoos and conditioners that I prefer.1
My hair is baby fine but takes a lot of heat living in the Florida sun. I find that it's frizzy and tangles quiet easily.
This conditioner unfortunately didn't help with any of these issues.
Honestly, it wasn't good or bad...it's just a conditioner. I only got a couple of uses out of it, but it didn't make my hair any shinier, softer, less frizzy, etc. I doubt I'd pay this much for a conditioner that works no better than my S Factor conditioner - that I pay waaaaay less for!2
Not really crazy about the scent of this conditioner. And the sample was so small it is hard to tell how effective it could be. Barely a one time use.2
While I enjoyed the scent of this product and it left my hair feeling soft it also left it frizzier than usual. I have fine but thick hair that isn't oily - it might work better for someone with hair that is a bit oilier.2
I have really dry hair so this is not a good product for me. It smelt nice and I like the idea of a color saving paraben free conditioner but this just isn't my cup of tea.2
I got samples of this and the shampoo in my box a few months ago and just tried them out. I strongly disliked the shampoo because it was way too drying on my hair. I followed the shampoo with this recommended conditioner, which seemed really thin and slippery. After I towel-dryed my hair, I applied some leave-in conditioner to get it hydrated again. I think this set of products would be great for someone who lightens their hair a opposed to dying it darker, or someone who uses a lot of styling products and needs a clarifying shampoo and conditioner. I would not recommend this to anyone who has naturally curly hair, dry hair, or dyes their hair red.2
With having highlighted hair having a color-saver conditioner is important. With having long hair I was only able to use the small sample one time but when I brushed my straight wet hair my comb went through with no tugging or snagging and the next day my hair was clean and staic free.2
I felt like there was residue in my hair after using these products. I prefer my normal brand. Will not be purchasing.2
I already have a conditioner I'm happy with, my I couldn't tell how effective this conditioner was since the sample was so tiny.2
