Sometimes we see La Vie en Rose. Other times, we’re in a more tropical state of mind. For those days when we’re envisioning sherbet sunsets and fruity cocktails, we turn to this mango-hued stain for a gorgeous, sun-kissed look. A beauty editor favorite, the two-in-one lip and cheek tint subtly defines and contours cheeks, while giving lips long-lasting color.
I first purchased this product back in 2011 when on vacation between Portland and Seattle. I had forgotten my lipstick that day for dinner, so I ran into a mall. I picked this up at the counter and have been using it every since! It's a great lip stain. I don't particularly care for it as a cheek tint as it dries quickly and can look streaky if you're not a trickster (mix it with some lotion)!5
I LOVE this product! I use it for my daily routine as a lip stain under sheer gloss, and it provides a nice pop of color. The shade is really quite neutral, too. For my casual days, I'll also blend a dab into my cheeks and use it as a blush alternative, and a smidge above the corners of my eye lids provides a nice pop of color, too. It is a huge value, also - Cha Cha Tint is super pigmented and the product will last you a while!5
I love Benefit and a lot of their products, plus the packaging is always super cute. But I just can't get behind these tints! I've tried a couple and I just find them really hard to use. I felt like they dried and stained before I could really blend it out, so for me these are a miss.1
Great alternative to a blush - I mix with the tiniest dot of moisturizer, and blend onto my cheeks with a large brush.5
I have tried it on my lips and it doesn't seem to stain anything other than my fingertip that I used to smear it. I still need to try on my cheeks but so far I didn't see the benefit of the product, my lips looked the same color as before.2
I really like the color. It doesn't take a lot at all and I found that all I need is just a dot for subtle, natural-looking color. The only problem I have is when I rub in the tint, it tends to wipe off the makeup I have on underneath which is a problem for me because I have melasma and need concealer on the apples of my cheeks. If I didn't need to keep my concealer intact this would be a favorite for me. I also really like the color on my lips.3
When ever I use this product it makes me feel great about myself! I don't feel caked with makeup!! I really enjoy using this!!'4
I must say I was hesitant in purchasing this tint. I had went to my local Ulta to do some testing. I know everyone raves about the Benetint but for me it was to watery & just didn't sit well with my complexion. Went on a little too red for me and I already have redness... But I did like the mixture of Cha Cha with Loli & or Posie tint. Super pretty and natural looking. I also tried Cha Cha with the Sun Beam (which I no longer see on the Birchbox website) & it was a perfect mixture of a beautiful cheek/glowtastic highlight.5
Perfect summer product. In the heat you want something warm and that looks natural this product lives up to those claims. It sets fast so blend fast. Stunning cheek and lip stain this is my summer go to.5
I was really excited when purchasing cha cha tint because I have heard amazing things about bene tint but wanted a stain other than red. I do not like the brush applicator..its very hard to apply. I do love the color but it does not last on my lips long at all. Wish I could have sampled before purchasing it.3
