We’re big fans of two-in-one products, since they tend to decrease our primping time (and, conversely, increase the amount of sleep time). We were therefore thrilled to discover LAFACE Laboratories' PUR Purifying Facial Wash, which acts as both a foaming cleanser and toner. The gentle, soothing, citrus-scented formula removes dirt and impurities, cleaning and reviving skin. It also moisturizes, heals blemishes, and tightens pores, promoting a more uniform skin texture. Plus, anti-inflammatory and hypoallergenic ingredients make it great for sensitive and acne-prone skin.
It had a nice smell...but was too small to get a good idea. I have used less expensive cleansers that do just as good of a job.2
The sample was very small, but the product lasted 3 days. Definitely not for me, it left my normal/dry skin completely dried out and splotchy. I was not impressed.2
the texture of the facewash is really nice, but the scent was way too overpowering. I don't generally like strong smelling ANYTHING and this is especially annoying because it's literally right under my nose and the scent didn't wear off for a few hours after washing my face with it.
The texture of the product is lovely, though. If I could try the same thing without this particular smell I'd be delighted to try again. My face felt very clean and velvety after using without any greasy residue.
However, some folks might be fond of the smell, so don't take my word for it. If you are turned off by strong, floral, grandma-like scents then this product is not for you. That being said it's very feminine and may appeal to the right person.
The sample size was too small, I suppose, but this would only bother me if I loved it and wanted to use it again!
I really didn't care for this product. I don't think it did anything and I prefer my facewash with some scrubbing power. The texture was kind of slimy too and I didn't like that.2
The product seemed alright but the sample size was too small to come to any real conclusions about it. I could barely wash my face once.2
I didnt notice anything fantastic about this cleanser and like my current one just great.2
For such an expensive facewash, I didn't really feel like it was all that special. I'll stick with my cetaphil...2
This was in my very first Birchbox shipment. Used it this morning. Love the way my skin feels now, very soft.2
This cleanser was just "ok'" in doing a thorough job. The consistency was very slimy, however the scent was lovely.2
I found this face wash extremely drying and not particularly cleansing. I've had better luck with drugstore brands.2
