We’re big fans of two-in-one products, since they tend to decrease our primping time (and, conversely, increase the amount of sleep time). We were therefore thrilled to discover LAFACE Laboratories' PUR Purifying Facial Wash, which acts as both a foaming cleanser and toner. The gentle, soothing, citrus-scented formula removes dirt and impurities, cleaning and reviving skin. It also moisturizes, heals blemishes, and tightens pores, promoting a more uniform skin texture. Plus, anti-inflammatory and hypoallergenic ingredients make it great for sensitive and acne-prone skin.
This product felt nice when applying but I'm not so sure if it improved my skin or not. I have acne prone skin and I feel it might have caused more breakouts that I had before using.3
This was so lovely for my sensitive skin. It smells heavenly, is super light and really cleaned my face and didn't mess with my sensitive skin! It felt so luxurious too!5
I really wanted to like this, but my skin just wasn't feeling this. The two-in-one cleanser/toner duo sounded awesome for my skin is your typical combination type. Usually washes either overly dry-out my skin or don't wash away the oils enough. I tried this in and it kept my skin super oily, and I ended up pairing it with my Murad Essential-C Cleanser which actually worked nicely together.
I am not saying everyone will have this issue, but it just didn't work for me. I also was a little underwhelmed by the scent, but perfumes don't really go hand-in-hand with with facial washes.
Very nice and luxurious feeling. I would continue using this product however I am very acne prone and need to use a product that exfoliates.5
I absolutely LOVE this product. I've never used a facial cleanser that has left my skin feeling this clean without making my face feel tight and dry. I received the sample in my April Birchbox & I immediately purchased the full size. Thanks for introducing me to my new favorite skincare product!5
This facial wash was just okay for my combo skin. There wasnt anything special about it and I would not recommend it to a friend unless it was free2
This facewash smelled LOVELY, but didn't really do anything for my skin. As far as I could tell, it didn't help or hinder my skin in any way, but my skin didn't feel any better after 2 days of using it.3
The sample was SO SMALL. Hard to tell if I liked it or not. Would not buy $45 face wash.3
I have combination/sensitive skin, so I was excited to get this cleanser in my April box. First, it smells divine--very citrus-y (mostly like grapefruit) and clean. It has a creamy lather, and rinses away cleanly. It leaves my skin feeling refreshed and clean, without being tight. I have not experienced the breakouts/bumps that other reviewers mentioned. I have not used this product consistently or long enough to comment on the claim of a more uniform skin texture, but it is such a nice cleanser on its own, I would recommend it.5
I was looking forward to trying this but it didn't work out. Within seconds of putting it on I had to wash it off. It started to burn. My skin is very sensitive to face washes so I have had this problem before. For other people I am sure its great but its not for me.1
