To ensure that your foundation doesn’t fade away by the time you get home at night, it’s important to start your makeup routine with a primer. LAFACE Laboratories Proteger Primer glides over skin, fills in fine lines, and creates a flawless base for long-lasting makeup.
I was not a fan of the primer. I wanted to love it, as primers are fantastic. But I didn't like the way it felt on my face. It felt goopy and heavy on my skin. I also didn't notice enough of a difference to find it worth it's price tag.1
I am not sure what the big deal is about this product. It is pricey, and all it did for my skin was to make it break out. I have tried several primers and have never had that problem before. I have mature skin, with dry patches, and am not used to having to deal with pimples again.2
I fell in love when I received a sample but fought buying because of the steep price. I ended up giving in and purchasing but regret it as the product seems totally different in consistency and it's making me break out which I did not do when using the sample. Bummer...2
I thought because this was all fru-fru and high end that it would work great - NOT! My make up was cracked like a broken mirror before mid-day.2
Just ok. does not really do much for keeping the foundation out of the creases. I have tried ones that really help keep the makeup out of the creases better than this one.2
I really do not like the way this product smells. I've only used it a few times, and it seems to do a decent job of extending the life of my makeup, but not so much so that the benefit outweighs the unpleasant scent. I would rather find a different primer.2
I felt that the product really dried out my face. Maybe2
I liked the smell. my makeup still ended up in my wrinkles.2
This primer did not work as well for me as others that I have tried. Don't think my skin type worked well with this.2
It felt silky smooth at first but I didn't love the texture after applying foundation. Maybe I just didn't wait long enough for it to settle into my face before putting on foundation? It made the skin on my nose look sort of lumpy and flaky (and I used it very sparingly). I typically use Smashbox photo finish primer and like that product much better.2
