To ensure that your foundation doesn’t fade away by the time you get home at night, it’s important to start your makeup routine with a primer. LAFACE Laboratories Proteger Primer glides over skin, fills in fine lines, and creates a flawless base for long-lasting makeup.
I currently use Smashbox's primer and didn't notice one difference between the two. Both are just as silky and blend just as nicely. It did it's job nicely, I just wouldn't spend the money when you could get other primers cheaper.2
I use a primer. They are both similar in texture and have that lovely soft feeling once applied. The difference, other than LaFace is twice as expensive is that towards the end of the day, my foundation starts to cakey, as if I put to much foundation on. I will save the sample in case I run out of my favorite.2
I don't wear much foundation, so I have never gotten too excited about the idea of primer. I used it one morning before freshening up my makeup. I wasn't impressed with the moisture content, my skin was still flaky in my problem areas. The feel of it was nice, very silky and smooth and a little dab did seem to go a long way.2
I can't stand the smell of this product. It's unfortunate because the primer works great but the scent is so off putting that it makes me not want to use it. :(2
I liked how the product made my skin feel, but could not get past the smell. I noticed it said it was fragrance free, however, I felt the product smelt like fish bait, thus I will not purchase the full size product!2
This product feels really smooth on my face but I don't think it makes much of a difference overall.
I love the smoothness of this product, but it stinks! It smells like fish oil every time I apply it to my face.2
I struggle with combination skin, and this product feels like it adds to the oiliness of my trouble spots without really helping the drier spots.2
I was excited to try this primer because I expected it to be better than the drug store one that I currently use. Unfortunately, it wasn't different in any way that I could notice; except the price. It does exactly as it says and the formulation is nice, but I wouldn't pay this much for a primer.3
I really liked this primer. I honestly would have given it five stars, but I cant believe the price. It just like other primers I've bought at cvs for ten bucks! It didn't do anything different than other cheaper primers. I personally would never spend 65 dollars on any type of makeup:/ I liked it, it did what it was supposed to, but so don't other cheaper kinds..3
