To ensure that your foundation doesn’t fade away by the time you get home at night, it’s important to start your makeup routine with a primer. LAFACE Laboratories Proteger Primer glides over skin, fills in fine lines, and creates a flawless base for long-lasting makeup.
I have tried so many other primers before and since finding this one in my Birchbox. I didn't want to shell out $65 for a primer, but nothing else compares. I had been using Smashbox and Hourglass previously, but this one blows them away.5
I had never used a primer before and loved how smooth and soft it made my face feel. When I use it my makeup stays all day. It really helps to even out my skin and makes me look younger. The price is a little high but a little bit goes a long way. I will most definitely buy it when the sample finally runs out.5
I have never used a primer and wasn't sure what to make of this - but I LOVE IT! It makes my skin super soft and feels almost - satiny. The only bad thing is that it's hard to put makeup on over it!5
I got my teeny tiny sample in my Birchbox and I'm still using it. I like that is gives me a nice matte finish without being cakey. There is no strong odor or harsh feel to the product. It leaves my makeup on all day and hasn't clogged my pores.5
I never really bothered with primer before. I'm not one to put a lot on my face even foundation. This stuff went on so silky and smooth I fell in love with it! A little goes a very long way. It's a bit pricey but totally worth it.5
I loved how this made my face feel and how flawless my make up was. I will have to buy the full version ;D5
This primer made my face so silky and my makeup went on so smoothly. I love that it has SPF in it.5
Really like this. Keeps my under eye foundation in place and I tend to not have makeup from eyeliner or mascara transfer to under eye when I have this on. Was going to purchase some but retail is a way out of my price range.5
Everyone says pretty much the same thing -- it's super-light, silky, feels lovely on the skin, and provides a perfectly smooth base...and I agree with them. I had been wearing a primer from Smashbox, with either a little BB cream on top of it (Dr Brandt) or just some powder (Benefit Dandelion). I was almost out, so I gave the LaFace sample from Birchbox a chance. A little bit goes a very long way! The last week has been ridiculously hot and humid and it's here that the LaFace product really showed its worth -- even after a really long and humid commute there was NO shine on my skin -- my makeup still looked fresh and clean. So I splurged on the full-size tube.5
This primer allows foundation to glide on without leaving an oily feel. Left face feeling soft and smooth. So worth the money!5
