To ensure that your foundation doesn’t fade away by the time you get home at night, it’s important to start your makeup routine with a primer. LAFACE Laboratories Proteger Primer glides over skin, fills in fine lines, and creates a flawless base for long-lasting makeup.
This primer is very lightweight and smooth. It goes on silky and lasts for a while. A little goes a long way, I am still using the sample.4
I got my teeny tiny sample in my Birchbox and I'm still using it. I like that is gives me a nice matte finish without being cakey. There is no strong odor or harsh feel to the product. It leaves my makeup on all day and hasn't clogged my pores.5
I never really bothered with primer before. I'm not one to put a lot on my face even foundation. This stuff went on so silky and smooth I fell in love with it! A little goes a very long way. It's a bit pricey but totally worth it.5
I loved how this made my face feel and how flawless my make up was. I will have to buy the full version ;D5
This primer made my face so silky and my makeup went on so smoothly. I love that it has SPF in it.5
Really like this. Keeps my under eye foundation in place and I tend to not have makeup from eyeliner or mascara transfer to under eye when I have this on. Was going to purchase some but retail is a way out of my price range.5
I was excited to try this primer because I expected it to be better than the drug store one that I currently use. Unfortunately, it wasn't different in any way that I could notice; except the price. It does exactly as it says and the formulation is nice, but I wouldn't pay this much for a primer.3
Everyone says pretty much the same thing -- it's super-light, silky, feels lovely on the skin, and provides a perfectly smooth base...and I agree with them. I had been wearing a primer from Smashbox, with either a little BB cream on top of it (Dr Brandt) or just some powder (Benefit Dandelion). I was almost out, so I gave the LaFace sample from Birchbox a chance. A little bit goes a very long way! The last week has been ridiculously hot and humid and it's here that the LaFace product really showed its worth -- even after a really long and humid commute there was NO shine on my skin -- my makeup still looked fresh and clean. So I splurged on the full-size tube.5
This primer allows foundation to glide on without leaving an oily feel. Left face feeling soft and smooth. So worth the money!5
I did not notice a difference from my other primers. My make up still melted off with in 5 hours. Left my skin with dry patches.1
