There are two spots that feature prominently in our wanderlust-fueled daydreams: SoCal beaches and Parisian sidewalk cafés. Luckily, we can live vicariously through this refreshing fragrance. Folle de Joie, which translates to crazy with joy, evokes both the relaxed and playful vibe of California and the seductiveness and refinement of the City of Light. The perfume opens with a burst of freshness from a blend of citrus and a light woodsy floral, giving way to hints of cognac. Its middle notes—jasmine and Damascenia rose—give the scent a carefree, summery vibe. Warm base notes of spicy woods and rich leather add a seductive finish.
I did not like the smell of this. It had a very floral scent that did not work well with me. I gave it to a friend who loves it!1
Got this in one of my birchbox's and honestly is not one of my favorites...I wish if they were going to give samples they would ask the types of fragrances we prefer because I feel like its a waste of a sample for me when I don't like it :(1
The scent is light? Love that! Unfortunately I will have to share this sample with a friend as rose scents just do not agree with me.1
I just didn't like the way my body absorbed the perfume. It didn't smell well on me. Sorry.1
Not a fan of this scent! I'm not a citrus kind of person. Did not smell right on me! Would not buy1
This smelled awful. So very strong. Gave me a migraine. I threw it away.1
If I wanted to smell like nail polish I would go down to CVS and buy some for $88 less.1
Not my type of smell at all. Too dark and musky. Reminds me of a dungeon. Sorry.1
I had high hope when I received this sample because its a high priced perfume. It also cam in it own cute little box. The first spray on my wrist, and the first smell of the scent, I decided it just is not for me, at all.1
I always love trying new fragrances. However, this one was not for me. Smells like a mix of baby powder & my grandma. ICK! Not to mention it also triggered a migraine. (Too musky). I won't be buying this product at all. (I had to throw away the sample)1
