There are two spots that feature prominently in our wanderlust-fueled daydreams: SoCal beaches and Parisian sidewalk cafés. Luckily, we can live vicariously through this refreshing fragrance. Folle de Joie, which translates to crazy with joy, evokes both the relaxed and playful vibe of California and the seductiveness and refinement of the City of Light. The perfume opens with a burst of freshness from a blend of citrus and a light woodsy floral, giving way to hints of cognac. Its middle notes—jasmine and Damascenia rose—give the scent a carefree, summery vibe. Warm base notes of spicy woods and rich leather add a seductive finish.
It smelled too much like alcohol and it was not fresh enough for me. The scent was overwhelming at times and made me sneeze.1
I hate fragrances... I hate that they force these samples on us. This scent didn't smell as bad as others but still a gross chemical smell1
Not the best smelling thing I've ever smelled. I would not repurchase. It smelt a little old like it would be more suitable for an older woman.1
This perfume has a really strong fragrance. If you are like me and like light, airy scents.. this perfume is definitely not for you.1
This smell reminded me of a scent my grandmother wore, it just felt a little dated.1
No, no, no no. I do not like this scent and I hate getting perfume samples in my box - I can get them for free at Sephora. This went in the trash.1
I tried this for the first time with just one little spritz and after about 5 minutes I needed to shower to get the scent off of me. My husband even asked that I not wear it again. It's REALLY strong and sort of smells like an old lady. Not the young light scent I was hoping for.1
The smell was overbearing and basically just smelled bad. Too sweet, and too...something...just not appealing. And my husband hated it.1
Smells nice just not for me. I'm a person who likes sweet sents wish this scent was just a tad more on the sweet side
Folle de joie is a subtle smell, but to me it didn't smell natural enough...I.e. Woodsy.1
