There are two spots that feature prominently in our wanderlust-fueled daydreams: SoCal beaches and Parisian sidewalk cafés. Luckily, we can live vicariously through this refreshing fragrance. Folle de Joie, which translates to crazy with joy, evokes both the relaxed and playful vibe of California and the seductiveness and refinement of the City of Light. The perfume opens with a burst of freshness from a blend of citrus and a light woodsy floral, giving way to hints of cognac. Its middle notes—jasmine and Damascenia rose—give the scent a carefree, summery vibe. Warm base notes of spicy woods and rich leather add a seductive finish.
This perfume smells so good I loved it. I hope to be able to purchase it someday as its on the pricy side.5
I loveeeee the smell of this perfume! I find myself reaching for this on a daily basis. The scent makes me happy:). The first time I put it in I was asked what perfume I was wearing5
This scent was wonderful. Perfect for spring and/or summer.5
The sample I received was empty and from the description of the smell, I knew I wanted to smell Folle de Joie. Dang! Sent an email and received a prompt response, an apology, and, before long, a new sample in the mail. Loved it as much as I though I would. A full-size product is pricey, but maybe ...5
I got this perfume as a sample in one of my birch boxes. I am beyond obsessed with this fragrance. It is a little greasy if you manage to spritz in onto your hair.5
I am a very fussy perfume person. There are only a few that I actually like and this is one of them! It is strong enough to last all day but not so strong that people don't want to share an elevator with me.5
Perfume smells great! I would purchase it again but it's expensive and more than I normally pay for perfume.5
Love this stuff! It's such a nice gentle scent that goes on light and lasts all day! Love
I kind of like the scent, and I'll use the sample here and there for sure, but it just isn't quite my cup of tea.5
The Folle de Joie would be my everyday choice, my special occasion choice, and my smell-it-in-a-room-alone-just-because-I-can choice, it's so amazing. I'm not great at describing smells, but this is some combination of sophisticated and fruity and just, well, happy. The sole factor keeping me from purchasing this outright is the price. I'm hoping enough review bonuses, someone following through on a gift idea, or my becoming suddenly independently wealthy will allow me to own it someday.5
