There are two spots that feature prominently in our wanderlust-fueled daydreams: SoCal beaches and Parisian sidewalk cafés. Luckily, we can live vicariously through this refreshing fragrance. Folle de Joie, which translates to crazy with joy, evokes both the relaxed and playful vibe of California and the seductiveness and refinement of the City of Light. The perfume opens with a burst of freshness from a blend of citrus and a light woodsy floral, giving way to hints of cognac. Its middle notes—jasmine and Damascenia rose—give the scent a carefree, summery vibe. Warm base notes of spicy woods and rich leather add a seductive finish.
I love this scent! Just right, not too light, not too heavy. Easy to wear in any season! I've been keeping it in my purse for those times I need to freshen up or to spray just because! This is one I will keep on my list of favorite scents!5
Loved the smell. Perfect for a summer scent. Was a bit disappointed that the fragrance didn't last...I couldn't smell it after the first hour after putting it on.3
Love the smell of this perfume. Wish I could afford the big bottle but I'll make the most of my sample4
I really like this scent. It's very airy and appropriate for summer4
I seriously fell in love with this smell! I just wish it was more in that little bottle, its not exactly cheap but worth the $!5
I got this sample in my June birchbox and really like the scent....its very fresh with a hint of floral. I just might have to buy some next time I purchase perfume.4
This scent is nice as far as floral scents go. I am not very big on floral scents but this one I do not mind.2
smells like an old lady to me, i prefer a more feminine/floral smell1
I actually received this scent as a bonus item with a previous full sized order and thought it was okay at first smell. When I received this as a sample in my monthly box, I tried it again and realized it is not my kind of scent. I prefer fruity, floral or clean/fresh scents. This is scent is far too floral for me and sort of smells like an "old lady". May just not be the right mix with my body chemistry but may smell fantastic on someone else.1
I don't think I've met a single Joie product I don't like. I've been wearing Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue for 8 years and this is the first fragrance that has truly competed with my love for Light Blue. I will probably end up getting this to switch it up now and then.5
