There are two spots that feature prominently in our wanderlust-fueled daydreams: SoCal beaches and Parisian sidewalk cafés. Luckily, we can live vicariously through this refreshing fragrance. Folle de Joie, which translates to crazy with joy, evokes both the relaxed and playful vibe of California and the seductiveness and refinement of the City of Light. The perfume opens with a burst of freshness from a blend of citrus and a light woodsy floral, giving way to hints of cognac. Its middle notes—jasmine and Damascenia rose—give the scent a carefree, summery vibe. Warm base notes of spicy woods and rich leather add a seductive finish.
Such a beautiful fragrance, but the price prevents me from buying the full sized bottle. I will cherish this little sample and use it on special occasions!5
I'm don't wear scents normally. I liked the smell at first, but then it gave me a headache as time went on.2
Very nice light fragrance. Great for work or going out.5
I was excited about trying this before I even sprayed it on. Birchbox's description was mandarin orange and rose. I LOVE rose scented things. It's not heavy on either note but a great combination. I loved it!5
A great scent for me. I would prefer the perfume to linger more/be longer wearing.5
I thought this perfume had just the right scent and strength for summer. It lasted and didn't overpower. It was very fresh and clean.4
okay fragrance, not for me, but not bad. liked the sample4
I'm not a fan of fragrances and feel like I have enough samples of them now from BB (after only having the subscription for eight months), that I wish I could opt out of them entirely now. That being said, this scent is nice and light, and I don't mind wearing it on occasion.4
I really like this scent, but it is pricey...that said, I like it enough I may still buy it. Like others have said, it's perfect for summer-light and feminine, not overpowering.5
I'm not much of a floral person, this didn't smell bad, just not for me.2
