Folle de Joie eau de parfum

There are two spots that feature prominently in our wanderlust-fueled daydreams: SoCal beaches and Parisian sidewalk cafés. Luckily, we can live vicariously through this refreshing fragrance. Folle de Joie, which translates to “crazy with joy,” evokes both the relaxed and playful vibe of California and the seductiveness and refinement of the City of Light. The perfume opens with a burst of freshness from a blend of citrus and a light woodsy floral, giving way to hints of cognac. Its middle notes——jasmine and Damascenia rose——give the scent a carefree, summery vibe. Warm base notes of spicy woods and rich leather add a seductive finish.

What can I say, I'm not a fan of the scent. It's a bit too floral for me.

Smelled good; very pricey

This smelled really nice but perfume is usually too strong for me so I opt for body sprays.

nice fragrance

I like this perfume because its a simple frangrance, not too strong and not to flowery. Kind of expensive but maybe i can get hubby to buy me some as a gift. :-)

Just not for me

Very nice scent for the summer season but just not my scent. Wasn't overpowering and seemed pleasant for a lot of people

fresh

I liked the smell of this perfume. It's light and fresh--perfect for spring or summer. I don't know that I would purchase it on my own as I'm not accustomed to buying fragrance.

Fresh, young, and a bit too sweet

I REALLY want to like this fragrance. It's got everything you would want in a casual spring/summer fragrance. It's fruity with vaguely flowery overtones. The rose coming through is really very lovely and I really wish I could like this fragrance enough to buy and wear since it's really the only blended fragrance I've smelled that showcases a rose's beautiful, complex bitter notes, as opposed to the sweeter powdery rose notes. Even so, I can't help but feel a bit like I should be spritzing this on after my high school gym class. It's fresh and young, but perhaps a bit too young for me. The fragrance also suffers from a distinct imbalance. The mandarin in it renders the overall effect of the fragrance cloyingly sweet, in my opinion. Such a shame, as I really do like the bitter rose.

Lovely smell

I really like this.. Not what I would normally reach for but I enjoyed it while it lasted. Unfortunately the price is a little too high for something I'm not completely head over heels for. It's unlikely I would purchase full size.

Mellow fragrance

It is difficult to decide whether or not you like a perfume if you only get to use it once. I did enjoy the base notes and if I had a larger sample this is a perfume I may consider purchasing!
