There are two spots that feature prominently in our wanderlust-fueled daydreams: SoCal beaches and Parisian sidewalk cafés. Luckily, we can live vicariously through this refreshing fragrance. Folle de Joie, which translates to crazy with joy, evokes both the relaxed and playful vibe of California and the seductiveness and refinement of the City of Light. The perfume opens with a burst of freshness from a blend of citrus and a light woodsy floral, giving way to hints of cognac. Its middle notes—jasmine and Damascenia rose—give the scent a carefree, summery vibe. Warm base notes of spicy woods and rich leather add a seductive finish.
I didn't like the scent, as someone before me mentioned, it smells like something my grandmother would wear and it's a little too floral for me.2
Smells ok but not my style. Turned weird with my body chemistry3
I enjoyed the smell of this perfume. It is not what I normally wear, however it is refreshing. Nice for summer.
could tell immediately that this product was not for me. some fragrances make my throat itchy and my head hurt and this was no exception. i will be passing on this one.1
So, I didn't hate it. There's that. I'm a Chanel Chance girl. This is not htat. But I wore it, and I smelled good.3
This perfume is great, but I am more into fruity scents than this.3
This perfume is a good scent, but I do not like it enough to spend $100 on it. I think there are comparable scents at a lower price point.4
Strong, rich, floral scent. Stays for ages. While I usually prefer lighter perfumes, I really love this - I can see myself using this for special occasions.5
It has a nice scent. Got a few uses from the sample. Not sure I would purchase though.4
Both my granddaughter and I loved this scent. She begged until I finally let her keep it. The layers of scent are all discernible which is always nice.5
