There are two spots that feature prominently in our wanderlust-fueled daydreams: SoCal beaches and Parisian sidewalk cafés. Luckily, we can live vicariously through this refreshing fragrance. Folle de Joie, which translates to crazy with joy, evokes both the relaxed and playful vibe of California and the seductiveness and refinement of the City of Light. The perfume opens with a burst of freshness from a blend of citrus and a light woodsy floral, giving way to hints of cognac. Its middle notes—jasmine and Damascenia rose—give the scent a carefree, summery vibe. Warm base notes of spicy woods and rich leather add a seductive finish.
this was a clean and simple scent. it is light and enjoyable4
The smell of this perfume was a little too flowery for me, but if used lightly has a nice summer smell.3
Loved this so much... Always getting compliments when I wear it. Out of my price range though.5
Love this scent. Wish it lasted a little longer. Florally, but not overpowering. Smells like summer!5
The smell is very nice. I really like the smell, but I don't wear perfume or have any desire to start. It doesn't fit with my work or my style. I also can't justify spending that kind of money on a fragrance.2
I can imagine that this is a great perfume for those who like floral scents but alas, I am not one of them. I was intrigued by the description which included mandarin as well as sandalwood but all I smell is the rose. It smelled more varied in the bottle/sprayed in the air than on my skin. If you like rose and a light, summery scent, this would be great for you.1
I did not the fragrance. It was too light and too floral for me.
I am not really a fragrance wearer, but I did like the smell of this one and it wasn't overpowering, which I liked.4
Based on the description I would have thought this scent would be perfect, but it was just "ok" and didn't stick around very long. I'd have to pass on a purchase.3
Wasn't a bad smell, but I didn't think it fit me personally.1
