There are two spots that feature prominently in our wanderlust-fueled daydreams: SoCal beaches and Parisian sidewalk cafés. Luckily, we can live vicariously through this refreshing fragrance. Folle de Joie, which translates to crazy with joy, evokes both the relaxed and playful vibe of California and the seductiveness and refinement of the City of Light. The perfume opens with a burst of freshness from a blend of citrus and a light woodsy floral, giving way to hints of cognac. Its middle notes—jasmine and Damascenia rose—give the scent a carefree, summery vibe. Warm base notes of spicy woods and rich leather add a seductive finish.
I work in a spa and see many different women of different ages and often get complimented when wearing this scent.5
A very heavy floral scent. My husband said it smelled like his grandma.2
The smell of this perfume was pretty good. Was not long lasting at all. It reminds me of sweet pea from Bath and Body works3
It's a nice floral scent but it is very expensive.4
This product has a fresh clean scent. It is very subtle and not over bearing. A good product to wear to work if you work in a customer service type arena.3
Still searching for my ideal fragrance. I think I like warm/spicy or clean/beachy, but I just need to instantly be in love with the fragrance.3
Got this in my June box... Love the crisp and refreshing scent4
This perfume was not very long lasting. But in this case that was ok because I did not like the scent. Too floral and woodsy for my taste. I feel like its the kind of scent my grandmother used. I stick with citrus and light scents with fruity notes.1
Even though I'm not a perfume wearer I thought this was a very nice scent.4
This fragrance was a bit too strong for me. I am sensitive to certain scents, especially if they are strong and this one was not my favorite and gave me an instant headache.1
