There are two spots that feature prominently in our wanderlust-fueled daydreams: SoCal beaches and Parisian sidewalk cafés. Luckily, we can live vicariously through this refreshing fragrance. Folle de Joie, which translates to crazy with joy, evokes both the relaxed and playful vibe of California and the seductiveness and refinement of the City of Light. The perfume opens with a burst of freshness from a blend of citrus and a light woodsy floral, giving way to hints of cognac. Its middle notes—jasmine and Damascenia rose—give the scent a carefree, summery vibe. Warm base notes of spicy woods and rich leather add a seductive finish.
The scent was nice and light and did not wear off quickly. This product is just a little too pricey!1
I didn't care for the scent a whole lot, but I loved how this was long lasting and summery!5
I really love the scent of this perfume. It is not overpowering but at the same time not too subtle. A total win.4
Smells great its just not my favorite, a little old lady.2
Very pleasant fragrance! I think the price would keep me from buying4
I love this fragrance! It's light, a bit flowery, and perfect for wearing anywhere. I usually choose fragrance by my mood and this is a happy one for me. I sometimes choose fragrance by season, but this one covers them all!5
I really like the sent it's clean and fresh, something I usually totally drawn to but it wasn't anything special to me.4
I almost did not try this sample because of the price but ended up loving it afterwards! However the scent did not stick with me throughout the day or else I would have bought it.5
Nice scent, if you enjoy perfumes. I'm not a perfume person, so I did not enjoy it.1
I wasn't the biggest fan of this smell when I first put it on. Once it sat on my skin for a few minutes I couldn't get enough. I kept smelling myself! My hubby liked it too, which was a pleasant surprise. The ONLY thing that holds me back from buying it is the price. $98 is just way too steep for me.5
