It’s rare to find a hairspray that’s great for our hair and the environment. This non-aerosol mist fits the bill: It’s full of natural botanicals to nourish strands, and it provides the strong yet flexible hold you need to tame flyaways and support updos, even in high humidity. Best of all, the earth-friendly formula doesn’t contain any harmful chemicals. All Number 4 products are vegan and free of gluten, sulfates, and parabens.
Not very good at holding my hair in place or holding my curl not satisfied at all1
Please Birchbox, start carrying a different line than this. Kevin Murphy is great! I rarely wear hairspray, but tried this and it was gross and made my hair crunch and stringy. Loreal has the best on the market and Bumble and Bumble makes a great one.1
I'm not a fan of non-aerosol hair sprays to begin with, but since I got this in my box I wanted to give it a try. First spray I already didn't like it, the smell was over-powering and not in a good way. Smelled like my 89-year old grandma's perfume. And it didn't even hold my curls through the morning. I have only used it the once, maybe I will give the sample to my grandma.1
I generally LOATHE hand creams & this was no exception. I had a frowny face after opening my box but tried it anyways. My husband automatically vetoed it for the "old lady" smell. Even after washing my hands it still lingered along with that weird oiliness hand creams leave.1
Smells like aquanet. I used to to style my 6 year old's hair before a dance recital and it didn't even work. It's terrible.1
I was so excited when I saw the bottle because a few boxes ago I got the shampoo from this brand. I loved everything about it! Unfortunately, this hairspray smells soooooo bad! I even tried to give it away but no one wanted it because of the smell.1
Made my hair dull, smells terrible, not workable... this hair spray was like using auquanet or something. YUCK.1
The hairspray did not work for my thick, long hair. I used the whole sample bottle and it wasn't enough, I had to finish off with my regular hairspray. The curls fell out within an hour of styling and my hair felt oily and smelled odd after the use. Usually my curls last 6 days with my regular hair spray with one or two touch ups in the meantime. This product didn't work well for me, I would not recommend it to someone with long, thick, course hair.1
gave this stuff a shot even though I boycott hairspray use and I just wasn't impressed... May have worked better if it was aerosol1
Sadly, didn't work for my hair one bit. It is a fab product, but non aerosols just don't have the oomph for my crazy head of hair.1
