When it comes to shine, there’s a thin line between a dewy, radiant complexion and looking like you moonlight as an auto-mechanic. To stay on this side of an oil spill, we rely on Youngblood’s Anti-Shine Mattifier. The balm-like formula keeps oil in check all day long while upping your makeup’s staying power. The translucent hue seamlessly blends in with all skin tones and leaves behind a satiny finish.
The product was okay. I did not think the sample was packaged very well. If I am going to try this product, I want to be able to use it on the go.
I felt like it did not do a very good job soaking up the oil on my skin, and I actually started breaking out on my cheek. I have not had a blemish in years.
Nice idea but I could not tell any difference whether I used it or not.2
Oh. My. Gosh. This stuff is PERFECT! All it takes is a tiny bit and my T-zone was matte all day. I have terribly oily combination skin....T-zone is super oily and my cheeks get dry. This stuff was just what I needed. WILL BE PURCHASING.5
I think this product works pretty well. I have primers that I use already so I don't think I'll need to buy this one. But good product none the less.4
After researching a few different anti-shine mattifiers, I settled on the Youngblood's product. I heard great reviews from friends who have used a few of their other products, and boy am I glad I listened. This product goes on smoothly and invisibly adding no extra "product weight" to your face, and even helps the powder to smooth over your face more easily! I think I would even use the mattifier minus powder for those hot summer days in the south when you are outside, but don't want to have makeup melting off your face! I couldn't be happier with my choice to purchase this product.5
I'm not very oily, so I just used this on my forehead, and the sides of my nose with my fingertips. It was creamy at first and then turned into a soft powder finish. I really couldn't tell a difference and just prefer to use blotting papers.3
This mattifier has a "barely there" feel on my face. I applied a layer to the T-zone area of my face early this morning, and it's late afternoon and still no shine!5
This product reduces shine and oil under make up without feeling too heavy or greasy. Feels light and has a nice scent!5
i prefer a sheer powder with some tone or coverage as opposed to this formulation.1
This product feels a little heavy going on, but then dries in to an almost powder finish. I've seen cheaper products out there that do similar things, but the Southern heat will put this one to the test.4
