We’ve always had a thing for the land down under: the surf, the sun, the all-you-can-eat shrimp on the barbie. Not to mention the sophisticated style of famous exports Nic and Naomi, who always look chic without trying too hard. Fortunately, we can get a little taste of Oz stateside with these new-to-the-U.S. lipstick pencils from hip Aussie brand Mirenesse. The bold, glossy hues are a no-fail way to add polish to any ensemble, and the long-lasting formula stays high-impact for hours. Bonus: Each pencil doubles as a dreamy cheek stain.
When I first got this, I thought it looked appealing. I put it on and was surprised how smoothly it went on. However, within seconds, I was quickly dissapointed. THE TASTE IS HORRIBLE. It's a shame because the texture is nice.1
I have no idea how this company made this product with it smelling so bad. It's a cross between old silly putty and clay. Couldn't use it because the smell was so offensive. Such a shame, because the product itself looked great.1
Totally not my color for lips or cheeks. The gold sparkle isn't something I would consider adding to my cheeks for my age or skin tone.1
This is a lip crayon of which I would compare to something of which we used as children. I do not think this is a quality item and it left my lips looking aged. no thank you1
Maybe it's just not my color, but I didn't really like this very much. My lips are already pigmented so when I add certain colors to it, it just doesn't look right.1
This product feels and seems cheap. I could buy something similar from the drug store for way cheaper.1
I really can't say too much about the product I hate getting lipstick samples. Lipgloss? great! lipstick? no lip pencil? no. Ugh my drawer is filling up fast with these.1
The color was exactly what I was looking for in a lip crayon and I really wanted to like it but I just couldn't.
The color went on clumpy and when I finally got it to a good consistency on my lips it wore off in about 10 minutes.
I received a very healthy sample of this lip color and was excited to try it. However, it was almost a burnt orange red color, which is the exact opposite of what looks good on me, so I looked like a clown! The texture and consistency also was not what I had expected; it seemed a bit "cheap" and like a low end item, nothing I would have paid over $3 if I would have seen it in the store somewhere, This product I will never buy or use again.1
I really wanted to like this product however while it looked great on the stick it looked icky on the lips. Chalky color, pasty, a little shine but it didn't matter because the color once applied didn't look anything like the shade on the stick. I would hesitate to buy this product because there is no telling what color you would get on your lips once applied.1
