L'Occitane’s new BB Cream stays intact through all our daily challenges—from back-to-back meetings to the busy sauna known as the New York City subway. The velvety formula is a moisturizer, antiaging treatment, sheer tint, and SPF into one. It blends in easily and skin with a fresh, shine-free finish. And true to the French brand’s chic heritage, it’s made with organic flower extracts sourced from Provence.
I love this product, but I must say that everything this manufacturer makes is the best. It is very moisturizing and smells so good.1
I got the medium toned sample in my box this month and I was excited because I really like a lot of what L'Occitane has to offer. However, this BB creme was not made for me or my kind of skin. (As a bit of a disclaimer, I have tried another kind of BB/CC creme and it did not work with my skin either.) Contrary to whatever claims were made, this creme did not blend well. It went on lightly but there was a chalkiness to how it ended up looking on my face. The scent was pleasant enough in the package but when you're smelling it under your nose the whole day, it can bring on a headache. It is sweet and floral, and was not at all to my liking.
I don't think I will be trying anymore BB/CC cremes until my skin coloration evens out a bit more. Even then, I'll be staying away from this product because of the scent.
I have come to the conclusion that BB creams or CC creams are NOT for me. Would rather use a good sunscreen,a good serum, and a prefered foundation. This was dry and too dark for me.1
I got this in Light as that's my usual skin tone, but it looked a little too orange on me. Didn't cover dark spots too well.2
Maybe it is just me but I have not found a BB or a CC cream that I like. I usually don't like tinted lotions because I have to avoid spreading past the jawline and have to use another product on my neck. I love L'Occitane products in general and always use a moisturizer with SPF 30 so I had high hopes for this one. I found it to be drying and chalky although the color was good. The liquid part separates so it has to be shaken which is a nuisance. I am going to set aside until summer when the weather is humid and it may work better for me.2
I was so excited to try this and had my eyes on it for over a month until I finally splurged and bought it. When I finally tried it I was amazingly disappointed. I dont think this should be in the BB cream section the box the product comes in basically describes it as a sunblock for the face not a bb cream. I'm very light skinned I dont tan in the summer or fake tan ever and I got the lightest tint offered and it was very noticeably orange on my face I was embarrassed when I saw my reflection outside it looked like I put self tanner on my face. Also when squeezing the product out it seems separated from the base. What I mean by that is you see the cream that has the tint in it when you squeeze it out but you also see some watery like substance at the same time separated from the cream. (makes me wonder.... did I get a bad batch???) My face did not feel refreshed or moisturized after this product it felt almost dirty and oily in a way and made the blemishes I have stick out more then ever, after applying this my pimples suddenly were bright red and stayed like that for the entire day. I don't really use foundations or anything like that I'm used to using BB creams with barely any coverage, moisturizing tints, or nothing at all but this product is the worst I have tried so far and is very very expensive compared to the others the only reason I wanted to try this was because of the natural products and the philosophy behind the brand.2
Although this BB Cream smells amazing - like a French garden - I can't help but think all that fragrance is what has made me break out like a monster in the week and a half that I have been wearing it. Sad face.2
It definitely feels nice on, but does not cover anything. It is literally a tint only and doesn't match well with my fair skin. And I bought the lightest one. I typically use Hydroxatone BB cream and I will definitely be going back to that once this tube is done.3
This is very sheer and silky. Liked the light scent as well. Seemed like better for less "marked up" faces.3
I really liked the texture, but it was hard to blend. But my skin got oily faster than I wanted using this product.3
