Can’t decide between two nail polish hues? The pros at Ruby Wing have come up with a solution to the ultimate polish conundrum: color-changing polish. Wear one vibrant shade indoors, and embrace a totally different color when the sun's UV rays hit your nails. Better yet, these polishes are lightly scented with the floral notes. We’re adding these to our mani must-have list.
My sample came in a trendy neon magenta that is supposed to turn into crimson in the sun. However, I didn't see any change in the shade. If you like these types of colors give it a try, but for non-drugstore nail polish it is nothing special.1
The idea behind color changing nail polish is cute for a younger girl, but just not for me. I added the nail polish to my god daughter's birthday gift (Valentine's baby who turned 11) and I think it will be put to better use by her.1
maybe I got a defective bottle or maybe the color change is extremely subtle and I didn't notice it but mine didn't change color at all.1
Red/Pink polish is usually not my thing, but I was excited for the color changing promise of this product sample. Alas, the polish stayed Pink and did not have any color variation to red whatsoever. How disappointing! I threw it in my wicker basket of 100+ other nail polishes - maybe there will be an occasion to use hot pink polish again.1
This polish does not stay on well, and the color change is strange. I wish Birchbox wouldn't send polish.1
i like the color change, just not a fan of the big glitter polish. like finer glitter1
Maybe if there are different colors I would purchase. Not for me only for that reason.1
The pink stayed pink the entire time. Looks terrible on my skin color.1
If I were 12 years old again, maybe, I would like this product but I'll take a real, quality nail color over any gimick, thanks.1
I usually love getting polishes in my box but I do not typically enjoy glitter. I also live in Alaska where, right now, I don't see a lot of sunshine so it's no wonder that the glitter didn't change color. It's juts not for me. I will send it in a package to my 8 year old step-daugher in Alabama where the sun shines. :)1
