Can't decide between two nail polish hues? The pros at Ruby Wing have come up with a solution to the ultimate polish conundrum: color-changing polish. Wear one vibrant shade indoors, and embrace a totally different color when the sun's UV rays hit your nails, thanks to the brand's SolarActive® Technology. Each Ruby Wing polish is non-toxic, vegan, and environmentally safe—plus has a light floral scent
I've tried a few Ruby Wing shades but am sadly disappointed each time. Color Club (they own RW) is a fabulous brand with stunning shades and a quality formula, but I feel like it doesn't translate to Ruby Wing. I received "Kitten Heels" this time, which is a shade that is pretty bight compared to what I usually wear and the shade it turns into wasn't that different or thrilling either. Also, I've found that all RW polishes I have tried generally take upwards of 3-5 coats to receive full opacity, which is annoying since I like my polishes opaque. I feel that this line is better suited for young girls just now venturing into the polish world as the novelty and lacking-quality just aren't for me.2
I like the idea of a polish that can change colors, but didn't like the color sample I received. I wouldn't usually choose a polish that is only glitter.2
I applied the Kitten Heels polished I received this month but was very disappointed that I couldn't tell if it worked or not. If it did, the change in color was so slight that I didn't even notice.2
I got the kitten's heels colour. it's a super cute shade and i love it. but it flakes off super easily (and I put three coats on) and it doesn't colour change like it claims to do. It also took a really long time to get the extra paint off the skin around my nails. So overall, colour good everything else mediocre.2
Not a fan of the glitter or the changing color, haven't been since middle school2
Cool concept, went on smoothly and fit change colors- but I had glitter all over my clothes on day 2. Difficult to remove as well.2
This is a great idea, it goes on nice and is fun but I am always upset when I get nail polish in my birch box because I simply do not need any more. Nice product, but I'm sick of nail polish - especially because I don't really wear it.2
The color was BRIGHT pink, so if thats what you are looking for try this color out. Personally I felt that the color was too childish for my taste. Also I haven't noticed any color change between inside and outside and going from pink to red isn't that cool to me anyways.2
I received this sample in Kitten Heels and it was interesting to try. The initial color is way too bright for me. The color it morphs into in the sun is more my taste but it only turns that color in the sun. This nail polish is a cute concept and cute idea but I feel with the colors used it comes off as being more on the juvenile side and not really a chic option for the everyday professional woman.
I like the idea of the color changing shades, but I got this in Kitten Heel, and I really do not like red nail polish. The color just didn't really work for me.2
