Can't decide between two nail polish hues? The pros at Ruby Wing have come up with a solution to the ultimate polish conundrum: color-changing polish. Wear one vibrant shade indoors, and embrace a totally different color when the sun's UV rays hit your nails, thanks to the brand's SolarActive® Technology. Each Ruby Wing polish is non-toxic, vegan, and environmentally safe—plus has a light floral scent
Love how long laying it is and the way it changes color. The colors are very spring and everyday wearable. Great product!!5
I received Kitten Heels as a sample which paints on pink and changes to red in the sunlight but the transitioning didn't work on me, like it ended up being a pink-red not the bright red on the swatch sticker. The best thing about this polish is its consistency and it did not leave streaking when applying to nails. The pink is way too bright and reminded me of highlighter pink, which I appreciated in high school but as an adult not so much. The "red" that I saw looked nice but kind of flat not as bright as its pink counterpart. I wished it was reversed that you only see the pink in the sunlight because if you spend most of your days out of the sun it is a color of red is not a "look at me!" drawing lots attention to your hands type of color unlike the pink cause its well like a highlighter lol.1
I love this nail polish! The color is so bright and the polish stays for a good three or four days. It changes color in the sun. This is my first color changing polish, and I plan to purchase more in the future5
This isn't really my thing, and the color I got was just a bit too "Barbie" for my test. Cool idea though! Might be a fun gift for a young girl.2
I love nail polish, and the idea of color-changing polish is gimmicky but fun. The product itself is good quality, stays on for a long time without chipping and really does change color in the sun. However, the shade is way too bright Barbie pink for my taste. A more trendy color would be awesome!4
I first used this over a gold polish from Essie and it was stunning. Then I walked out in the sun and it completely rocked my socks. But perhaps I had so many layers of polish on (or maybe because I did a lot of baking and had to wash my hands a few times extra), it quickly peeled off. I tried it again with a fiery red Sinful Color, and it lasted for days. The color change wasn't as evident, but the long lasting sparkles were so much fun! I don't know if I would buy again because the glitter is a nightmare to remove, but I may consider it when my sample is gone!4
If you are looking for a little (affordable) sparkle in your life, Ruby Wing Color Changing Nail Polish is fabulous. It was easy to apply, fun to wear and made me feel a little glam on an evening out. But, like most sparkle or glitter based products, once you decide to take it off it is like trying to squeeze out of a girdle...slow and painful. I will live the glitter for the high school kids and stick with my diamonds ;)3
So i absolutely love the color... its perfect for spring bright pretty! BUT it never changed colors for me when i went outside....i have the pink to red. Love the color but wish it changed!
i would still be interested in buying the gold glitter....
The pink color was a little bright for me but once I put it on I liked it. The outside color was also nice. The best part is it has lasted longer than any other polish I have used. Between washing dishes and constantly washing my hands it is barely chipping. Very impressed with the long wear!5
This is pretty nail polish, but I didn't see a significant change in color outside.4
