Can't decide between two nail polish hues? The pros at Ruby Wing have come up with a solution to the ultimate polish conundrum: color-changing polish. Wear one vibrant shade indoors, and embrace a totally different color when the sun's UV rays hit your nails, thanks to the brand's SolarActive® Technology. Each Ruby Wing polish is non-toxic, vegan, and environmentally safe—plus has a light floral scent
the nail polish is solid as can be, can't say it lasted particularly longer than other brands. The smell, though pleasant, is a tad strong and lingers. This was nice after the application--the smell lasted even a couple of days after I had applied. But DURING the application, I would recommend going outdoors/fresh air to do so as the smell got a little overwhelming.4
I received this as a sample and although I was not disappointed, I would not purchase. It didn't chip too bad and actually DID change color even in the scant amount of sun I see in a Minnesota winter. I'm just not a fan of gold and the red quickly fades when returning inside. Perhaps a different color.3
This is my absolute favorite nail polish. I am OBSESSED. It stays on well, and the colors are perfect. I cannot wait to own them all.5
The shades this polish are nice. The color changing effect seems to only work on direct sunlight, but it works! And I found this shade to work faster than others. As for the scent, it is barely discernible; I wouldn't call this a scented polish.4
Love the gold color of the glitter. I found it to be perfect for an accent nail. I wasn't too fond of the red when you went outside. Like many reviews, I would suggest checking your coverage outside once it dries so you can see any spots you missed or may need to touch up.4
I loved this glittery polish. Even better when used on top of another color. Didn't notice a floral scent though.5
I really enjoyed this - the color change is a fun feature, but I really like the gold color (which is what you see more of when at work/home etc...) It chipped just like any other nail polish, but not more so than others.4
I wasn't a fan of the color to begin with, and didn't really think I'd be a fan of the color it was supposed to change to, but I thought I'd try it for novelty's sake. I didn't really notice any change in color, so no joy there either.1
I liked this polish. The gold glitter and clear base was beautiful indoors. The first time I went outside, it did turn red. The shade darkened depending on how much sun I was exposed too. The only problem I had with this, when painting indoors, the clear polish works great! But, when I go outside and the red shows up, you can see where I missed a few spots in my initial paint job. Easy to fix, first time you paint: do your best to get the whole nail with the clear polish. Then go back over to evenly spread the glitter.4
I really enjoyed the color changing aspects of this nail polish, as orange is my favorite color. It would be a great polish to wear in the summer time.4
