Can't decide between two nail polish hues? The pros at Ruby Wing have come up with a solution to the ultimate polish conundrum: color-changing polish. Wear one vibrant shade indoors, and embrace a totally different color when the sun's UV rays hit your nails, thanks to the brand's SolarActive® Technology. Each Ruby Wing polish is non-toxic, vegan, and environmentally safe—plus has a light floral scent
I was really excited to use this nail polish but was disappointed with it once I did use it. The color did not change from neon pink to magenta like stated...the change was very subtle and if I didn't know it was supposed to change then I wouldn't have noticed a difference3
I like this polish, but I haven't gotten to test the color changing ability yet (its on my toes). I think this is a neat idea to have a color changing polish but I'm not really willing to pay more for this fancy feature.4
I loved this nail polish a lot. The indoor and outdoor colors were both great and made for a fun mani.5
I thought this was a really interesting concept, and the polish really did change colors as described. However, I thought the polish also chipped easily. I'd rather use a more reliable polish, even if it doesn't change colors.3
This polish is so fun and different from anything else I have tried! Totally reminds me of when I was younger!5
I have been loving glitter lately, so this nail polish was fun, but I just couldn't get it to change color in the sun. I'll try it again in the summer when I'm spending the whole day outside or something. Disappointing.3
My sister got a Ruby Wing nail polish from Birchbox over the summer. I didn't believe her how fun it is, until I got my sample. My friends loved it, and so do I. One qualm I have about it- it was a b*tch to get off! With 10% acetone, it took me about 20 minutes for both hands on constant scrubbing and working. I also didn't like how the sparkles were noticeable when you run your finger over it. I'm sure a clear coat would have helped.4
I'm never 100% stoked to get nail polish in my birch box because to me all nail polishes are the same. They all chip and go on relatively the same. I got poppy and it's a cute color but I probably won't get much use out of it.3
Don't get me wrong I like glitter but when it's on someone else. Was hesitant to use the product cuz of it being glitter. The finger polish is actually very strong. I've washed my hands a lot and even done the dishes and the polish is still on my fingernails. Which usually never happens with others. I loved the fact that it changed colors while outside. Definitely something new to me and was excited to see it happened.5
I love the gold glitter and the look of the polish but the quality is not great and the color changing is not effective with the glitter. I have a matte nailpolish by this brand and the color changing works much better with that polish.3
