Can't decide between two nail polish hues? The pros at Ruby Wing have come up with a solution to the ultimate polish conundrum: color-changing polish. Wear one vibrant shade indoors, and embrace a totally different color when the sun's UV rays hit your nails, thanks to the brand's SolarActive® Technology. Each Ruby Wing polish is non-toxic, vegan, and environmentally safe—plus has a light floral scent
I like the color and that it changes..too bad it flakes off.4
Everyone commented on how awesome my nails looked with this polish. It is so sparkly unlike other sparkly nail polishes. I'm not the best at doing my own nails, but I have never had so many complements on my nails with this polish on.5
This is a fun nail polish- especially for the summer. The color changing is fun and a neat idea. The Polish goes on easily, though it takes a little effort to remove. What I didn't love was that the part that changes color is clear. It would chip without me realizing until I was outside and changed color. I am also not a huge fan of wearing glitter nail polish. Still- it is a fun nail polish that I will prob use it this summer for my toes.4
I've used color changing before and it's been fun, but this time, the color did not change in sunlight. The indoor color got lots of compliments, but I was pretty sad there was no shift. I even went back and tried to use it a second time and followed the exact instructions, 2 coats and a top.2
This nail polish is awesome! It's a great, super sparkly top coat that dries quickly. Or it's super cute as a fun, slightly over the top, glittery accent nail. I got the gold sample and it looks fantastic with my jewel-tone polishes, especially the turquoise and purple.5
I love the idea of color changing polish...always a conversation starter! I wish the glitter was a little smaller.3
I love this! I will be purchasing it definitely. I am somewhat of a nail polish addict and I LOVE THIS. I got the pink one that turns into a melon color in the sunlight. The color on the sticker on the bottle shows that it is a reddish color in the sun, but this is not the case. I like the melon color better anyway.
My only complaint is that it needs to be in DIRECT sunlight to change color. It was overcast a few days and no change happened when I was outside. I had to hang my hand out the sunroof to make it change color when it was sunny.
I received the poppy shade. It’s a hot pink that’s supposed to turn burgundy in sunlight. It's an awesome idea. I like it!4
I love the idea of a color-changing polish, but the hot pink color I received in my box was not for me. I would consider purchasing the product in a different color if more options were available on the birchbox website.4
This is a fine nail polish, but I never noticed the color change when I was outside. Maybe it wasn't sunny enough?3
