Can't decide between two nail polish hues? The pros at Ruby Wing have come up with a solution to the ultimate polish conundrum: color-changing polish. Wear one vibrant shade indoors, and embrace a totally different color when the sun's UV rays hit your nails, thanks to the brand's SolarActive® Technology. Each Ruby Wing polish is non-toxic, vegan, and environmentally safe—plus has a light floral scent
The sticker and color online doesn't do this polish justice. I loved the bright fun color it starts as indoors, and the dark pink it becomes in the sun is even better!5
Really neat idea. Drys in seconds which is a huge plus.4
I liked the idea, but I wish the color change was more pronounced. It changed really quickly, but it just went one shade darker, and chipped right away.3
I can't express how much I LOVE this nailpolish!! It hadn't been all that sunny in Seattle, so I didn't get to see the color change for a couple days of wearing it, but that was totally okay by me because the original (indoor) color is beautiful! I got the Peony one. We finally had a sunbreak, and the outdoor color is great too, and not to drastic, so you don't have to worry about it becoming something totally clashy. I would have bought it even if it didn't change, just for the indoor color...I haven't found any other brands that make a color similar, and it's SO perfect! I daily get multiple compliments on it, and it's so much fun to be able to show/tell the color change aspect! :) I didn't notice a scent difference in mine, but again, I bought for the color, not a scent change. :) HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS!!!!5
I was really excited to try this color changing polish, but it went on a little thick. It ended up chipping on the same day. Probably won't use it again...2
I wanted to love this polish but the formula was so streaky and thick that I didn't even get far along enough with my mani to see the color change. I only gave this 2 stars instead of 1 because I love nail polish.2
The color change is so exciting, but you need major sun for it to change colors. Most of the time it's in the indoor color, which is a really fun, bright color.4
I have to admit, I was pretty excited about the 'fun facot' of the color changing. My daughter, 4 years old, is really into makeup and paintingher tootsies with me. I thought she would be amazed at this. It took me over 3 coats before I finally gave up on getting it to cover well. It reminded me of the quality of her play nail polish. The color did change, but to a very dulled out red. I gave it to my daughter for her playtime.1
Overall I like the polish. I got the color Groupie in my birchbox (which made for an awesome value). It is a very bright pink that probably isn't for everyone. The formula is all right but somewhat thin.4
The color wasnt too bad (had to use a top coat otherwise it is very dull. Didnt even get to see the color change because the scent was so old lady smelling. Could not continue to wear it.2
