We're firm believers that everyday routines deserve special occasion-worthy details, which is why we're currently transforming our daily shower regimen into a transporting experience with this bath soap from artisanal brand LAFCO. The custom, Italian-made blend of wild rose, black currant and bayberry evokes an English garden in summer (is there any place you'd rather be?), while luxurious lather both cleans and hydrates.
The smell was too strong for me, so I passed it on to a friend!1
The smell is a little intense at first, but it does dissipate. Left no residue. Perfect for the Powder Room.4
smells great, as soon as i opened my birch box the fragrance filled the room!4
My entire box reeked of the fragrance of this product--I received French Lilac and it was waaaaaaaaay too overpowering. I have sensitivity to certain fragrances and this did not work for me. I think I would have been better off with one of the fruitier scents.1
I don't normally use bar soaps and have not used them in over 10 years but this one might make me change my mind. All the bar soaps I have tried in the past left me feeling sticky and not very clean. This one by LAFCO goes on smoothly, leaves me feeling hydrated with no stickiness afterwards. The smell is also wonderful and the first thing I noticed when opening my box.5
The flowery scent of this soap is way too strong for me.1
I was excited to get a bar of soap, I love to treat myself to luxury soaps...that being said, my husband and I both were turned off by the scent. I have been using it anyway, but the somewhat old-fashioned, heady scent is not for me. Lathers well.2
The soap was a nice feel and texture and didn't dry my hands out but the smell was a little too strong for me.3
This soap permiated my box, and when I opened it I fell in love with this soap. It is creamy and moisturizing, and I would probably buy it if I weren't partial to shower gels instead of bar soaps.5
I liked the smell, very fresh. It has a nice lather.3
