We're firm believers that everyday routines deserve special occasion-worthy details, which is why we're currently transforming our daily shower regimen into a transporting experience with this bath soap from artisanal brand LAFCO. The custom, Italian-made blend of wild rose, black currant and bayberry evokes an English garden in summer (is there any place you'd rather be?), while luxurious lather both cleans and hydrates.
I liked the smell, very fresh. It has a nice lather.3
I have very dry skin and this product did not have enough moisture for me.3
This is a very nice soap...expensive, but the smell is a little too strong for me.3
For being just bar soap, it's pretty fabulous. Feels and smells very luxurious but pretty expensive3
But it's a bit pricey for me. I'll use this soap in my house guest basket, but I wouldn't purchase the full size version.3
I expected to love this soap like all the other reviewers, but I found it to be nothing special. It's not bad, but it's not wonderful either.3
I love these little soaps!
I like more conditioning soaps however I did use this little bar up in the shower because I loved the scent
thought this was a pretty little soap but the smell was so overpowering that i had to throw it away. my entire box reeked of it and i really didn't like the scent. the scent they sent me was fleur.3
i'm pretty sure i could smell this soap bar as it sat in it's little box, then in the wrapped BirchBox, as it sat in my locked mailbox across the street! :-p Yikes! Seriously, this little sucker's fragrance demands attention! For the first hour after I opened it, I kept thinking my grandma was nearby knitting some weirdly colorful afghan throw thing whilst watching Matlock. Perhaps this would be a suitable and lovely fragrance for a quaint little, kitschy old shabby chic'd out B&B with macrame hanging and ceramic figurines decking out the wash room, but... that kinda extreme nostalgia isn't really my cup of tea for a soap product... (no offense, Grandma! LOL) ;)3
A sample of this soap came in my April Birchbox. The packaging was really pretty and the soap itself is great--it doesn't leave my skin feeling dry afterwards. However, the scent is a little strong for me and makes me feel like sneezing. If it smelled differently, I would probably like it a lot more.3
