We're firm believers that everyday routines deserve special occasion-worthy details, which is why we're currently transforming our daily shower regimen into a transporting experience with this bath soap from artisanal brand LAFCO. The custom, Italian-made blend of wild rose, black currant and bayberry evokes an English garden in summer (is there any place you'd rather be?), while luxurious lather both cleans and hydrates.
This is like a hotel size bar of soap. It's certainly lovely and fancy but I don't have a place in my house for bar soap. I'm a liquid kind of gal. Maybe if I had a suitable guest room that consisted of more than a futon draped in my clothes, I could have some for visitors.3
I don't use bar soap, but I am keeping this to use to wash hands in the bathroom by the sink. It is good, keeps hands soft, and smells good.3
I'm giving this 3 stars only because I wasn't a fan of the overpowering scent. it smells too masculine for me. However, the soap does have a nice silky smooth texture and lathers well. Feels luxurious soaping up!3
I am not the biggest fan of bar soaps, but wanted to give this one a try. It has a nice scent, and great lather. It would be perfect for a guest bathroom!3
I received the Fleur de Baises soup. I wish others had mentioned which they had received as well in their reviews. I found it to be a bit heavy and overly floral. I'd think I might like one of the other scents more. Something with a clean, refreshing scent. I'm more of a shower gel person but this might be nice to tuck into my lingerie drawer.3
I have always been a shower gel/cream kinda girl, but I thought I'd give this a whirl because the reviews were so great. I ordered the fleur de baises scent, and whoa it does smell fantastic. But, even on the first use I found myself wishing for the better scrub my sponge provides, even though it did lather really well. Also, bar soap will always be bar soap, which means it left my skin feeling really dry and tight. It really didn't do anything moisturizing like it advertises. Sooo...if you're one for expensive hand soap or prefer bar soap, this is for you. Otherwise I'd say stick with what you're used to.3
The soap was a nice feel and texture and didn't dry my hands out but the smell was a little too strong for me.3
I liked the smell, very fresh. It has a nice lather.3
I have very dry skin and this product did not have enough moisture for me.3
This is a very nice soap...expensive, but the smell is a little too strong for me.3
