We're firm believers that everyday routines deserve special occasion-worthy details, which is why we're currently transforming our daily shower regimen into a transporting experience with this bath soap from artisanal brand LAFCO. The custom, Italian-made blend of wild rose, black currant and bayberry evokes an English garden in summer (is there any place you'd rather be?), while luxurious lather both cleans and hydrates.
I don't like to use bar soap so this sample was useless to me. Plus I didn't like the smell at all.1
I didn't love this soap because the scent was way too strong.1
I couldn't stand the scent. I didn't find the scent to last on my skin, which was a good thing, but I actually had to throw out the bar because I couldn't stand the scent it was giving off in my shower!1
I have allergies and don't really do well with anything that is heavily scented, so this soap is too overpowering for me. Seems like a lovely product, though.1
The scent I tried was overpowering! I didn't even need to open the box it came in to tell I would never use it. It smelled like a Funeral Home. I'd like to try some of their other scents.1
Sorry, I couldn't get past the scent with this one. I don't care much for bar soap to begin with, and this one was just much, much too strong.1
Sorry, I couldn't get past the scent. I don't much care for bar soap anyway, and this was much too strong for me. :(1
I was actually kind of disappointed to find soap in my birchbox this month. First, I am not crazy about the scent, and am not a fan of scented soaps (or lotions) anyway. I always buy and use unscented. Second, I do not even own a soap holder... all the soap in my house is liquid. Maybe I can stuff this in a care package or something... bummer overall.1
I tried the soap and it feels fine, but I wasn't fond of the fragrance. Maybe a different fragrance. I think mine was lavender.1
The floral scent of this soap was overwhelming, even before I opened the box. I could smell it through all of the packaging. I am not one who usually prefers floral scents, so this one isn't for me.1
