We're firm believers that everyday routines deserve special occasion-worthy details, which is why we're currently transforming our daily shower regimen into a transporting experience with this bath soap from artisanal brand LAFCO. The custom, Italian-made blend of wild rose, black currant and bayberry evokes an English garden in summer (is there any place you'd rather be?), while luxurious lather both cleans and hydrates.
The soap smells so good and it's very moisturizing. My skin is very soft after using and the soap leaves a light scent. Wonderful for a bar soap.5
Loved this soap, smelled nice and moisturized my hands.5
The scent of the Fleurs de Baies soap wafted into my nostrils as soon as I lifted the lid from the April BirchBox. My husband and daughter ran into the room to ask "What smells so good? Did you light a new candle?" They too smelled the soap and my daughter asked, "Can I have it?" I told her no, that this soap was mine mine mine all mine and to go open her own BirchBox. Thankfully, her box included the soap as well. I am impressed with the natural ingredients, including olive oil, almond oil and rice proteins. This is a soap, that though it is labeled guest soap, will NOT be saved for company. It's going with me into the jacuzzi tub and the shower! There's only one other bar soap that I use, and that is the Fresh Lemon Sugar soap. I would rate this Fleurs de Baies soap right up there with the Fresh Sugar Lemon.5
I have purchased candles from this brand before and love them. This is not my favorite scent, but a great product!5
I opened my Birchbox and this great scent filled the room. I love the lather, scent and plan on trying the other scents this wonderful soap comes in. Thanks Birchbox!5
This soap is wonderful! It smells great and would make a nice gift for anyone.5
I received this as a sample. The soap smells so good and it's very moisturizing. After my bath, my skin is still very moisturized and still have a faint smell. I loved it very much but due to the price, I have to see if I really wanted to spend that much money. Maybe I'll use my points.5
I love the smell of the soap and it feels nice when you use it, however, I'm not sure that merits the cost. I personally would not pay that much for any bar of soap, so I will not be buying, but I love the sample!5
Love it!! Will probably put in my guest bathroom. Plan on ordering more of it.5
I loved the scent of this LAFCO soap – intense and heady but not cloying, lingering on the skin long after a shower. And despite the strength of the fragrance, the soap itself felt hydrating and didn't have that chemical, moisture-stripping effect I occasionally encounter in scented soaps (case in point, recently I had to stop using a fancy bar by a different brand after the first use, when I developed a rash from some chemical in it). LAFCO, as usual, gets it right.4
