We're firm believers that everyday routines deserve special occasion-worthy details, which is why we're currently transforming our daily shower regimen into a transporting experience with this bath soap from artisanal brand LAFCO. The custom, Italian-made blend of wild rose, black currant and bayberry evokes an English garden in summer (is there any place you'd rather be?), while luxurious lather both cleans and hydrates.
very soft and leaves a fresh clean scent on your skin4
Im not really a bar soap fan so when this arrived in my March box I was hesitant...but then it smelled so good I decided to throw it in the shower and give it a try. Consider me converted! The soap glides on smoothly and leaves a light but noticeable fresh scent. Its been my new go to in the morning.5
I LOVE the smell, but I am on the fence about purchasing as I am not a big fan of bar soap.5
The floral scent of this soap was so strong it permeated the rest of the items in the box. It reminded me of my grandma's house. I'm not normally a fan of lavender or strong floral scents, but this soap did leave my skin feeling soft and smooth.2
I put this soap in my guest bathroom and all guests seem to enjoy the soap. It seemed kind of strong at first but people love it.5
I loved this soap sample so much. I bought the full sized product with some points because it seemed too expensive. I couldn't believe the size of the bar of soap, almost too big to hold in your hand. It's a half pound and I would probably buy it again for the full price.5
I love this and I don't even like bar soap! This would definitely be a splurge though, 17 bucks for soap? Yikes!4
i'm pretty sure i could smell this soap bar as it sat in it's little box, then in the wrapped BirchBox, as it sat in my locked mailbox across the street! :-p Yikes! Seriously, this little sucker's fragrance demands attention! For the first hour after I opened it, I kept thinking my grandma was nearby knitting some weirdly colorful afghan throw thing whilst watching Matlock. Perhaps this would be a suitable and lovely fragrance for a quaint little, kitschy old shabby chic'd out B&B with macrame hanging and ceramic figurines decking out the wash room, but... that kinda extreme nostalgia isn't really my cup of tea for a soap product... (no offense, Grandma! LOL) ;)3
Love the scent. I smelled it as soon as I opened the box. It makes my skin soft and I can smell the scent long after my shower. Expensive, but a good product.
This soap wasn't for me. The scent was very synthetic and smelled a bit like an air freshener spray. The soap did lather nicely though.2
