We're firm believers that everyday routines deserve special occasion-worthy details, which is why we're currently transforming our daily shower regimen into a transporting experience with this bath soap from artisanal brand LAFCO. The custom, Italian-made blend of wild rose, black currant and bayberry evokes an English garden in summer (is there any place you'd rather be?), while luxurious lather both cleans and hydrates.
I couldn't get past the strong floral smell of this product. It was overwhelming and I don't particularly care for floral soaps/perfumes.... Gave it away immediately to a coworker! I do enjoy specialty soaps, just not this one!1
This soap washes well and leaves you feeling clean, but i did not perfer the scent Fleur de baises1
I have to say that I lean towards having dry skin and have to utilize a more moisturizing cleansing formula of soap on my skin. I rarely use a bar soap. I could tell before opening this package, that the formula of this soap contained too much fragrance and would be over drying to my skin and it was. The scent was overpowering and I was dry and uncomfortable after my shower. I'm very dissapointed with the price of this soap. Even for a "guest soap", this is overpriced in my opinion.1
the fragrance is too strong. Broke me out. I have really sensitive skin and the scent seemed to react badly with my skin.1
This soap is wonderful! It smells great and would make a nice gift for anyone.5
I received this as a sample. The soap smells so good and it's very moisturizing. After my bath, my skin is still very moisturized and still have a faint smell. I loved it very much but due to the price, I have to see if I really wanted to spend that much money. Maybe I'll use my points.5
this soap smells yummy!! i love the way it feels. I'm not one to use bar soaps, i prefer body washes but i'm glad i took a chance on this.4
The soap smells lovely, but I have sensitive skin and I am itchy as soon as I leave the shower (and my skin is dry). The product also costs twice what a handmade soap costs (and some of the handmade stuff is far more effective--less drying).
This soap did a good job cleansing and felt good on the skin, but the smell was too overpowering for me. It smells like really strong laundry detergent. I usually don't use bar soap in the shower, so I think it would make a good hand soap if I can only get past the strong smell.3
I don't love this soap, but it's mainly just because I am not very keen on this particular scent (Fleurs de Baies). The packaging is pretty, and it would look nice in a guest bathroom. It had a nice bubbly lather and left my hands feeling soft.3
