We’ve heard the buzz about natural products, but most lack the lush scents and silky textures we crave. Not so with this Swiss brand’s new collection of nourishing body lotions. Made with all-natural fruit extracts, the lightweight formula is loaded with rejuvenating ingredients that boost elasticity and protect skin against environmental aggressors.
I tried a sample before putting jeans on and thought it was fine, but then I tried the sample again on bare legs and by the end of the day my legs were still greasy. My husband hates when my skin feels lotioned, so this product is not for me.1
I receive three different samples of this in the box and tried each one. I actually had to wash them off because the smell was so bad. No one was worse than the other ~ I have no idea how the lotion itself works because I did wash it off.1
I hated the fragrance. I don't want to smell like a lollipop. It was also too loose in texture for my liking. I wouldn't use it or recommend it. I think it would be ok on my 9 year old who smells like sugar anyway.1
The smell of the product was OK, but I use lotion to make my skin feel good and this product did not do that. My skin did not feel hydrated after using and the product felt watery.1
the scents were repulsive and the lotion did not do its job. at first it seemed like it would be nice and creamy, but when rubbed in it seems to disappear leaving my skin just as dry as before.1
1) Texture: the texture was too watery for my preference. I generally prefer thicker lotions or body creams
2) Smell: I'm not a fan of rose scented things. If you are, the rose might be okay for you. The pomegranate was just not pleasant. And the sea buck thorn smelled like orange pez (which, isn't necessarily a bad smell, it's just not something I care to smell like)
Not a purchase I'll be making
I sampled the Rose scent of the Weleda body lotion and submitted a previous review which was not posted. The scent of the lotion smelled awful and didn't have a great feel after it was on my skin. In my opinion, there were zero redeeming qualities to justify buying or using this lotion.1
I wish the sample packaging had been in a bottle instead of a packet, so I could have squeezed out a little at first instead of enough to coat my entire body twice in this awful, awful scent. I usually use a fragrance free lotion so this was unbearable, but even if I was used to a scent I don't think I could have withstood this. Don't try it before bed! I had to take a shower to get it off me so I could sleep. Ugh.1
I didn't care for this lotion's smell. I also thought it was not "moisturizing" enough.1
This lotion smells terrible to me. I am not a fan of such strong, flowery, fruity flavors. The texture of the lotion is fine, and it was moisturizing enough, but nothing can get me to purchase this because I hate the scent.1
