We’ve heard the buzz about natural products, but most lack the lush scents and silky textures we crave. Not so with this Swiss brand’s new collection of nourishing body lotions. Made with all-natural fruit extracts, the lightweight formula is loaded with rejuvenating ingredients that boost elasticity and protect skin against environmental aggressors.
Although many complain about the smell of this product, I liked the smell. However, this is a 'thin' lotion and prefer something with a bit more thickness/creaminess to it. I liked the sample, but I don't think this is something I would purchase on my own.3
I was disappointed that I received three samples in the same scent. I thought the whole idea was to try different samples, not three of the same. I liked the citrus scent okay, but nothing wowed me about it.3
I had the citrus scent, and I ended up smelling overwhelmingly like lemon Pledge after I used it. Will not be purchasing this one.1
Nice clean citrus scent. Felt good on my skin and the scent lasted a long time.5
I got the citrus scent and my husband said I smelled like a hippie. It moisturized my skin, but I would definitely get this in a different fragrance.4
I thought it went on nice and smooth and dried quickly and was light weight, not greasy. Smelled DELICIOUS! I might buy it, might not, not sure now. But I did see it for sale at Target ... don't know what the price difference was.4
This lotion moisturized quite well, but the citrus scent was overpowering at first. It dissipated within about 15 minutes. But the moisturizing is great. For that, and the fact that this is a natural product, I would recommend it.4
So, although I saw a review or two comparing the scent to household cleaner, I love it. It does remind me of a really refined take on something like lemon scented pin-sol...I don't think anyone would mistake you for a chambermaid while wearing it, however.
I love that the lotion isn't overly thick and easy to apply...that aside, I didn't like the slight greasy residue that was left on my hands for a good while afterwards...reminiscent of handling raw bacon. I don't think I've used it enough to say one way or another that it has lasting effects, but for the price I'll be sticking with L'occitane.
I love the sample sizes because I travel a lot, and coincidentally saw this lotion advertised when I was in Zurich last week. However, I didn't think the texture was very moisturizing, nor did I like the scents.2
This is descent lotion. Nothing to get super excited about. I got the citrus scent which was nice, but not very strong.3
