Fun fact: There are reportedly 17,000 websites dedicated to Aishwarya Rai and her mesmerizing eyes. Snag a little bit of the Bollywood legend's look with these eye-brightening cream shadows from Indian-inspired brand Sumita. The easy-to-use pencils let you contour and line like a pro, while the pretty shades add instant drama. The long-lasting formula clings to lids and has a subtle (not over-the-top) shimmer.
When I swatched the eyeliner on my hand, it was creamy and the color seemed to be pretty enough where I could try wearing it out. Imagine my surprise when I actually rubbed my swatch and it didn't budge whatsoever. But also keep in mind it was on my hand. So, I tried it both as eyeshadow where I smeared the liner before it set and eyeliner, but it sadly didn't last on my eyes like it did on my hand. -sigh-3
This was just not for me- I felt that the pencil tugged on my eye vs going on smooth, and while I don't have oily skin, there was transfer to beneath my eye by the end of the day, despite using a primer.3
I have a collection of shadow sticks and this one was nice but nothing spectacular. I liked the color and it stayed on for a long time but not a wow for me.3
I loved the color, a hunter like green, but I could not get this off without using a makeup remover, and even the. Did not get it all off. I also like just a little more shimmer in my colored liners.3
I'm always looking for pigmented eye shadows to create a statement. This eyeshadow promised a dramatic look, which I did not get at all. I purchased the purple shadow. Though the color was a nice shade of light purple, it was extremely light and barely visible when I put it on. I tried to put on a few layers, but that simply have me more sparkle/shimmer than I wanted. Overall, nice light color, but certainly not the bright statement shadow I was expecting.3
This is a great product in terms of coverage and longevity of wear; however, after only several uses the color stick literally fell out of the pencil. I really like the slight shimmer to the color and it does in fact brighten your eye, but since it broke after light use I won't be buying the product.3
I received the Rusna.. I tend to wear nudes but the product itself went on smoothly and was very bold. Just not my color!
This stick broke off the second I tried to use it, and what I did manage to get on my eyelid was streaky and thick. Not my favorite.3
The color of this pencil is very concentrated - do not use unless you really want a pink eye! Overall, the formula is creamy and goes on easy and would be a great addition to a fast morning routine, in another color (for me!)3
I received the pink color as a sample in my box. The color didn't really do anything for me, as it's this weird Barbie pink with a TON of shimmer (neither of which I'm really into). It went on well though, I would consider trying a more neutral color.3
