Fun fact: There are reportedly 17,000 websites dedicated to Aishwarya Rai and her mesmerizing eyes. Snag a little bit of the Bollywood legend's look with these eye-brightening cream shadows from Indian-inspired brand Sumita. The easy-to-use pencils let you contour and line like a pro, while the pretty shades add instant drama. The long-lasting formula clings to lids and has a subtle (not over-the-top) shimmer.
In the past, I haven't been a fan of shadow pencils. I feel like they don't last long, and they tend to crease on my somewhat greasy lids. This was a surprise. It lasted longer than most, though it still wast as good as a powder.3
Loved the gold color, loved how easy it went on, loved the look. I would definitely buy this product, and I would try the other colors too.5
I received this eyeliner in the color, "Jaipur Gold". It was the most beautiful shade of a mossy brown/green gold; and went perfect with my dark brown eyes, complexion and hair. The eyeliner went on smooth and smudged great, staying put.5
I like the color, but it does not work particularly well for my skin tone. It does smudge and get on your brow bone (if you have hooded eyes, esp) but it's decent. It glides on smoothly. I probably won't spend money on it, though.3
I liked the application and the easy glide but was not a fan of the jade color it creased and the color was transparent2
The actual liner itself was fine but the colors are ridiculous and look waaaay too exaggerated. Would love in a basic brown or black but I have no occasion to wear something this bold3
Very easy to apply, easy to achieve a multitude of effects (simple liner, bold liner, or all over shadow), and a great color that totally compliments my skin/hair/eyes, though I wouldn't have thought so if I just saw it in a store.
I received this eye pencil in a shade I don't see listed here for purchase, which is kind of a bummer. It's a gold-green color and I dig it. It seems really great for fall and winter, but as I long for warmer temperatures, I want a little more neutral-with-a-pop, so I haven't used it too much. The few times I have used it have been for nights out, and I'm going to try to keep working it in for that.
My allergies are so bad my eyes are constantly watering so I'm always having issues with getting my eye makeup to stay in place for more than a half hour. I tried this and I fell asleep with it on and everything was where it should be when I woke up!5
I love the consistency and the way this pencil goes on, but I wasn't a huge fan of the color I received. It wasn't something I would wear (it was a weird gold-like color). The eyeshadow wears extremely well, and doesn't fade at all. I've been using it as a eyeliner instead of an all-over color because it works better for me that way.4
The color,Jaipur Gold, is fantastic with brown eyes. I used more as a pencil liner than eyeshadow. As an eyeshadow it would be too dark for me. Liked the product but confused as how it would be shadow.4
