There’s something so liberating about going sockless—until your feet start sweating. And while powders and foot deodorants will absorb some of the perspiration and odor, there’s no way to fully replace the myriad benefits of a sock without actually wearing one. Here’s the ultimate solution: no-show socks, which give the appearance of bare feet without the smelly side effects.
They fit great, feel great and look great (as in don't show), until I took a few steps and they slipped right off my heel and balled up under my arch... I will give them one more try with a different pair of shoes, but not expecting a different result. Disappointed.1
These socks never stay on and are not worth how annoying they are to have no show socks. I wear a size 10 shoe and these socks never stay on the heel and don't cover enough of my foot to wear drivers and not have the shoe rub on my feet.1
These socks are useless. They are too small and don't stay on your feet. The heels constantly slip off making them very uncomfortable and useless to wear.1
1. supa thin sock
2. fell off my foot within one block of walking. that is when they went in the trash.
Maybe I have weird feet... but these socks won't stay on as I walk. The heel part always comes off and I end up stepping on the socks. Kind of defeats the purpose of the socks.2
Wore them for the first time and was disappointed. The sock on my left foot kept coming off so I had to kept taking off my shoe to pull back the sock I did this about 10 times wearing them for about 6 hours. The right sock was fine. Will wash them and see if anything changes. Wish this worked better.2
After two wearings and two washings, the silicone heel grips are nearly useless, I've had to take my shoes off twice today to pull the heels up on the socks, and at one point contemplated either throwing my shoes or the socks across the room to help alleviate the issue. If I were just wearing socks this would not be a problem, but sadly modern standards of acceptable dress in the U.S. require shirt, shoes, and everything else is really optional. Silly really that places don't require pants.
Seriously. how many times have you seen "pants required" on a store door? Sure, I get it, it's a law (in most U.S. states) but this is silly.
Comparing these to the MS&Co. Loafer Socks (v 1.0, without heel grips) they perform about the same. I can say the fabric has a better feel than the MS&Co. socks, however, it seems too elastic and could do to be more resilient after washing.
The idea of these socks is good but they won't stay on. I liked the feel of the material & the no-show look but they kept slipping off my heels. I am a size 13 so they may work for you but a warning just in case.2
But they didn't stay on like I'd have liked. They slid off my heels a little too easily. The material is very comfortable, and breathable. The color is neutral enough to work with any color of clothing or shoes.3
It seems that I have been having the same issue with these socks as most other people have. They keep slipping off. The first time I wore them the left sock was the only side slipping off and I had to continually take off my shoe to slip it back on. Same thing happened the second time I wore them. Being that I wear size 13 shoes I thought that maybe they would fit more snug and I wouldn't have the same issue after I washed them but no. I like the look that it gives of "no socks" which is why I continue to wear them but now I use a piece of tape on the heel of my foot to keep the heel of the sock from slipping off.3
