There’s something so liberating about going sockless—until your feet start sweating. And while powders and foot deodorants will absorb some of the perspiration and odor, there’s no way to fully replace the myriad benefits of a sock without actually wearing one. Here’s the ultimate solution: no-show socks, which give the appearance of bare feet without the smelly side effects.
Like the concept of no show for wearing with boat shoes or other stuff, but unfortunately these "one-size fits all" doesn't exactly fit. They will stretch on but then proceed to slip and slide off. Cool concept tho2
I have size 11.5 (wide) feet and these were just a little too small for me to work. They're good quality materials, and I can see how the nubs would keep them from sliding off, but they were pulled just too tightly on my feet and slipped off into the shoes every time I tried them.
Probably a good buy for someone with size 10 or smaller shoes.
The socks were pretty comfortable. However, I had to continuously take off my shoes to adjust the socks as the backs would slide off.3
Overall I think that its a good idea but they wouldn't stay on my feet.1
Here's the thing, no-show socks in general can be a pain because they'll slip off your heel - this is by design and there's no avoiding that. That said, these are better than others I've used because of the rubber grips in the back. I'll probably buy a few more pair depending on how these go through the wash cycle.4
These are great for boat shoes, especially if you wear them a lot. Keeps your shoes "fresher" longer. However, I live in the city and walk everywhere, and these eventually begin slipping off my heel.4
Love these socks. Able to wear with my chucks. And has rubber nubs so they don't slip off4
The socks are completely the wrong size for me. They almost hurt to try them on, though I am a size 9 and a half/10--not huge. I don't really think I'd use them, anyway, as I'm more of a hiking boot and flip-flop kinda guy rather than a loafer man. I gave them to my husband, though, and he wears them and enjoys them, though they ironically slip off his feet when wearing his loafers, as opposed to lace-up shoes.1
Living in a hot/humid part of the country, I'd rather not wear socks in summer, but then you get that smell. These are the answer. Comfy , light, perfect!5
I think these would work well with boat shoes, if going for a no-show approach. For the time I wore them around the house, they look very feminine.3
